Why should you be unwarned/unbanned?

I was pulled into a sit because someone accused me of RDA. I arrested them on the grounds of a law which said "any guns out outside of the PD is aos" (something like that) and I understood it as: Anyone who has guns, anywhere in the city, as long as it is outside of the PD should be AOS. After reading this law, I saw someone have their gun out in the park and I walked up to them and Arrested them. A few minutes later, I am demoted and pulled into a sit and this person is whining talking about how it is a new life and that she was defending herself and how she pulled her gun out because she saw me. This was false because I came up from a distance away and she did not even see me at the time when I planned to arrest her. After arguing over nonsense in one of the stupidest sits I have been in, this person says "okay whatever, just ban this person". I continue to argue my claim and on top of this, this person accusing me has NO EVIDENCE. I have to leave midway through the sit and before I left, I asked the mod "who is right in this situation" and the mod said "neither of u". After that I said I needed to leave and that I was sorry.

I now come back to see that whining, with no evidence somehow makes mods ban someone outright.

First of all, terrible work by the mod. They allowed the accuser to whine and whine about things that had no context to the arrest and Second, they accepted a claim from someone without any evidence.
"Innocent until proven guilty" was not shown in this trial.

I didn't want to leave and I know that it would probably come off wrong but the mod said neither of us were right so I thought it was a misunderstanding and we would leave it at that

After talking with the other mods, we came to the conclusion to unban you, considering this is your first offense. You can't be leaving in the middle of a sit like that, because it will lead to a ban. I said "neither of u" because I wasn't even listening to the other person. Also there was evidence, it's called the logs and im able to check where you arrested and cuffed someone (including fines).
