Lunartique Posted March 20, 2020 Share Posted March 20, 2020 Most sniper rifles have a firerate of 1.25, meaning it fires 1 round every 1.25 seconds, and that it fires 0.8 rounds per second [rps] rps is calculated by [1/[Firerate]]. So now we have established that: - Firerate is how many seconds it takes to fire one round. - RPS is how much rounds it fires every second. A Deagle has a firerate of 0.3, It fires 3.33 RPS. Looks right, because it it. Now here's where it gets fucky. Most assault rifles and pistols have a firerate of 0.07 and 0.08, It fires 14 RPS. That doesn't seem right. Assault rifles usually fires 8 RPS. And pistols fire 3 RPS. What in the fuck bologne? The firerates of assault rifles and pistols seem to be horribly inaccurate. I rest my case.
