Just cause other people might have been playing boomboxes around me since certain people were trying to report certain people for just creating a bar next to them doesn't mean it was my boombox. I hear hobos doing boombox and mic minge all the time...I just mute them, not report them because that's like their job right? Who warned/banned you and for how long?: I got no warning. Someone came after to say something about the firing range but that wasn't my set up. Just a 5 day ban for doing hobo stuff. Watermelon banned me. Evidence: I think they took a video of what happened. I mean you might be able to see me as the hobo king moving around. If they didn't send in a video then, I wouldn't understand why I would be banned hours after that happening. Watermelone Posted February 29, 2020 Share Posted February 29, 2020 There is a very fine line that is set to differentiate between doing the job of a hobo, and instigating harassment upon someone, and you passed this line. The MOTD clearly states "Do not Minge" and this is what you were doing, as well as harassing them with a boombox minging earrape music with it. This is a big no-no, and harassment can be considered for a permanent ban, so lets say you got off lucky for harassing them. Although since you decided to appeal this ban, I will speak to peers of my rank or higher ranked, and determine whether your ban will be shortened or not. EDIT: Following up, if you hear or see others minging with boomboxes then feel absolutely free to report them! I played birthday song music. one of the other 4 guys that i think got banned for that. I don't know any ear slap music to look up. I just feel I got grouped in with a few other people who might have been banned for feeling some type of way about their establishment. I was playing birthday music for like 5 - 7 minutes. That's the main part of your ban, which usually would be permanent for harassing someone. The one with the country kid singing thats like absolute ear rape. Like he came up to me and ask me to stop the ear slap and You ca n hear me clearly say its not my boombox. I'm cool with the ban. Its no big but, just wantted to clarify I did state it was not mine and someone else put it in my base. I thought it wasn't allowed since they weren't hobos and cant build outside but I'm no admin and mayor skybasing with kos signs is allowed so I dont really judge any more. But long story short, no i did not create the shooting range either. Kamala saw me and my hobo hut and all these doods in it trying to antagonize him and assumed since it was my hut it was me doing it all but unfortunately it was more just some other doods were trying to mess with them. I mean i didnt even pull a gun out at the shooting range. I was shooting my poop into the sink they had set up trying to score some 3 pointers. Basically, the guys who reported me pissed off like vibe captain beecause he was like setting up his bar and started playing chill music and they had like come to him and pretty much immidiately threatened to call an admin. Thats what he said. So that pissed him off and he started to try and make things difficult for the kamala and ronsan. I literally just joined the server, became a hobo, saw a big commotion and set up shop to do what hobos do best. like you can clearly see its not me mingin in the videos. I literally just made a hobo base and i got banned because people who were legitimately minging decided to hang around it in. They never go to the shooting range so theyres no way to prove who set it up. You are going completely off mine and Kamalas word with that. I can prove tho, at 1:47 on the video 16 16 07 video, he looks at vibe captains props and you can see vibe captains base above mine before that. that was his ramp intentionally blocking thier sign and he built all the shooting range stuff on top of their building. If I was guilty I wouldn't be wasting my time here. I really feel in this case, I was grouped in with the Trisha and Vibe captain who were making things difficult. Just cause they were staring at me the most in the video makes it look like I'm doing it I guess, but the only thing I'm guilty of is making a hut and playing birthday music for a little while. Not ear rape. just happy birthday. i thought it was funny to be a hobo celebrating non existent birthdays but I didnt think it would turn into a serious offense. To be honest, it's really messed up he didnt check the shooting range and just said it was me. If he had taken one second and looked at the props he would have known. why would I think I'm allowed to build between the entrance to someone elses bar anyway? After watching the videos a few times. I really dont see what yal see. I mean you can clearly see everyone around me holding boomboxes and messing with them. I'm like singing "banananana red is the lobster". From what i'm seeing hes just watching me hang out and a bunch of doods who were already there before messing with them but now theyre messing with them from my lil hut so I look like the ring leader? I mean Ill take a screen shot of my play history gladly to prove i was not playing ear rape. I cant prove i didnt create the shooting range. just ask that you ask vibe captain and hopefully he admits to it.
