These are very general ideas I thought of while burning some time at work, everything mentioned in this post is subject to criticism and all the rates stated are perfectly malleable.

I hope some inspiration as to where pets can be integrated comes from this at the very least, perhaps introducing pets is a good way to augment gameplay for a person who plays a specific job a lot more than anyone else.

Pets aren't meant to buff to user, they're meant to be rare accessories. Also a large majority of the pet effects are incredibly strong, and being able to spawn with a job unique item no matter your job is definitely not a good idea.

revert bank, making dragon eggs craftable means they can get dragon pet easy and means that your solution to the bank being shit is keeping the bank shit but making it easier to raid. just revert the 'buff' to bank

nobody said anything about making dragon eggs craftable...

  3. Making the items inside the pickup box not degrade would just be a buff to pickup boxes. Just make it so can't disappear inside the pickup box, and instead just instantly destroy itself upon leaving the pickup box (if degrade timer ended). All the printers will drop out.

  4. I feel like removing insta cuff would be enough, it is pretty busted. Cuffs without the insta cuff gang perk can be made completely useless by just circling the cop, forcing them to use the taser on people that resist, and people that don't resist get cuffed quickly without the use of a taser.

I don't feel like making it so if a cop is damaged they can't cuff would be a good idea, since the rp purpose of a cop is to arrest, not gunning people down.

And while I’m here maybe add the rank to the E menu in game?

Game tracker rank isn't accurate since if you change your steam name, it resets.

  6. Currently, CP's are required to get a warrant to enforce laws in buildings, which makes total sense. The issue, is that cp's are also allowed to just KOS anybody within the building with a warrant, even if the players inside give zero resistance towards the CP.

Simple rule change: CP Warrant raids act the same as Mercenary raids. This means they can Shoot / Arrest the player the warrant was made for, but not touch anybody else unless threatened (Or other players also break laws). It doesn't make any RP sense that a player can get a warrant for something like having a vape out (Swep AOS), and everybody within the building could be shot and killed and/or arrested.

I glass window shouldn't protect me from bullets but they do.

    You ever heard of uh

    bullet proof glass

Ya know, glass meant to protect against bullets, something that a mayor / PD would need when under the constant threat of revolts and PD raids to kill the mayor.

ok im not saying its a bad idea im just saying its not a good idea either since it beats the purpose of the system also you're just delivering packages to the parcel it tells you too, it even shows you a dot to your target so it's not really high effort unless you consider walking high effort and no xp categories can be instantly maxed out without effort, especially if you consider delivering parcels high effort.

You can literally max restaurant owners xp category in 10 minutes max for like 1.5m

edit: Also parcels is one of the only xp category that can actually take genuine effort if you want to be efficient. All the others are brain dead easy, just take time.

You can be really really efficient with delivering parcels especially if you can do the mastersword/jetpack and gravity gun trick. I don't think the 3x XP would be all that balanced for parcels as the point of 3x XP is to try and encourage players to play RP jobs and engage in that jobs specific RP actions as said job, it would kind of beat the purpose of that whole system if regular XP actions had 3x XP.

I would be willing to concede and say it would be nice to have an option to skip the dialogue if you're planning to continuously deliver packages but even then not a whole lot of people bother with packages as most people really just use it for the XP it gives you anyways so having 3x XP I feel would make things worse.

Then again I sit there and play Necromancer and Serial Killer all day instead of delivering parcels all day so I might be totally wrong who knows

tbf, jobs like restaurant owner and shipwreck diver can get 3x xp. These jobs you can max the xp category in 5-10 minutes. Parcels take an hour of non-stop high effort grinding to max. I don't see how you have an issue with that but not wit xp categories that can be maxed, without effort, instantly

I feel you like just want a way to get 3x xp for delivering parcels, that's like legit all I see you do when you're online lol

I would honestly be completely fine with the 3x not going towards parcels since parcels are already decent for xp, I just want the npc's to be at least viable SOMETIMES for xp. Currently they're completely useless, and if you were to just grind it to max the xp category, it would take over an hour of just going through the npc, accepting the task, then giving him the item (olive, deployable shield, fish, etc.) for 2 xp at a time (3 if you have double xp active).
