Cry about it lol you arent the only one maybe try to not care about being rdmed 1 time by a random literally no one who does anything with their time wants to sit in a 30 minute sit for your dissertation on why the person shouldnt kill you. The funniest thing is coping salec trying to argue against you when he would probably be doing the same exact thing spamming sits if he werent moderator

Cobaselic is pretty laid back so im not sure where this is coming from either. Do all of you just lie or use examples from long ago to judge the character of people nowadays? It seems like it.

  2. I dont know where this consensus came from that Corp reports every little thing that happens, unless it was from way back before I knew him. People break rules on us CONSTANTLY and I do mean that. We both usually play together and for every 10 people that break the rules on us, maybe only 1 gets reported. I dont know why we are magnets for players to break rules on us, it could be our playstyle or something but I guarantee you we rarely report, especially me.

-no he only killed me because i looked at him funny! he hasnt even shot anyone else!
-ok so whyd u call a sit
-because I hate when other people have fun if it slightly inconveniences me! I want players who have 5 minutes on the server banned! ban them all!
    -ok man

Not sure where this is coming from but alright

I'd say more than 50% of the current Smods have less than 10 sits taken in the past 2 months, because lololol Smods don't need to take sits. An age requirement for staff apps is dumb because so many good mods were below 16. I do have to say the staff team is a lot more lenient then before, because if it was stricter who would want to be staff.

Age requirement isnt dumb at all, on average older people are more mature, which is better being in a place of power. Players will always want to be staff and try their best to be staff, no matter how strict it is. Why? Because some players actually want to better the community and enforce rules.

I agree with this point quite a bit, but it could be potentially abused by angry players and the lot, sit doesn't go the way they want, they give a 1 star or whatever. This happened a lot when I was staff, however, I think implementing it is a good idea. Now that the community manager position is open again, it should be filled by a far more active player, and this should be one of their main jobs, is looking over evaluations and discussing them with the involved staff members.

The way I was thinking of to filter out angry people is to simply only take well written reviews of the staff member in question with actually viable points as to why this staff member might be doing any sort of misconduct. When it comes to community manager position, I dont know if any of the current staff members are truly ready for that, they are either not a good staff member or inactive for the most part. There are some exceptions.

i dunno why people make excuses for the staff, they really just accept anyone and so the staff team is full of toxic and racist 14 year old kids who come home from school mad after tyrone shoves them in a locker for the 50th time and they have to log into garrys mod and abuse their powers and call people the N word just loud enough that they can't hear their father beating their pregnant mother to death in the next room.. any idiot can see the issue here. you accept just a small handful of shitters into the staff team and they will make sure all of their shitter friends become staff in short order too. its a simple problem really...

The first half of what you said seems like a joke, but just incase its not, I dont think home life effects many people on the server, it might for some but I feel like its not many. I had a crappy home life when I first started on the server and still was a pretty decent staff member. I think there are much more pressing issues then just toxic players becoming staff and getting their toxic friends to be staff. For example, its way too easy to become staff, staff abuse is not really taken seriously, a lot of staff dont have an understanding of the MOTD except for basic rules, and a lack of maturity and ability to admit when they are wrong. These are some of the biggest issues ive seen firsthand.

hey bro i been trying to come back maybe one day ill be able to return and show sugar that what happened in 2017 was clownery
what the staff team doesnt understand right now is I used to pull all nighters and stay up 7 days straight to staff titsrp. kinda a no life thing but i enjoyed staffing and hanging out. If the sit count thing existed back in 2016 id be on top of the leaderboard still and ive been banned for 3 years

Im not sure how its relevant to bring up your staff experience from 5 years ago. Im not asking staff to spend more time on the server for the sake of staffing, im asking that they increase the quality of their staffing. Quality over quantity, its why we have so many staff members, so they dont have to do that and can more focus on the quality of staffing when they are on.

  8. Im making this after my most recent sit with staff I will not disclose for obvious reasons. After this sit taking around 15 maybe 20 minutes, and seeing the all around inefficiency of the staff team I decided to finally make this thread, because I am sick of it.

Since I have been back, almost every single sit has been way longer then needed, and its getting to a point where its annoying. When I make a sit, I usually have a clip rendered, and evidence on hand, and even then, sits take way longer then usual, even if it is an open and shut case. It truly is ridiculous, its the main reason I dont make sits anymore and either ignore the player, or report it on the forums. Recently, most of my sits have been about a rule in the MOTD that should be well known by now but apparently isnt, which is the default laws section. I have been enforcing these default laws as CP, and every staff seems to believe that you need a mayor to enforce these laws, or I have to fine them before enforcing them, even though it says that all of those activities can be AOSed. Ive been in probably 6 or 7 sits at this point, all of them with arguments and threats of punishment, taking around 10-15 minutes, but they all end the same; "Ive decided to just give you a verbal, but dont do it again" and nothing fruitful is gained. I straight up tell them I wont listen to that because although yes, some rules are left to staffs interpretation, it does not mean rules that are set in stone and specifically say I am allowed to do this, can be overwritten, and I always stand my ground with this. To me, the whole "verbal warning" thing just seems like a way to keep their confidence, while also being fearful of giving a true punishment. Not saying verbal warnings are like that in every scenario, but with all of the sits ive been in, it seems like it was for me. There was only one sit that I can actually say was well done which was done by Its Ya Boi Green, he dealt with it efficiently, and even though I didnt agree with his ruling, I still followed what he said because I respected the way he dealt with the sit, and respected that he found a compromise with me and the player that reported me. This is just what has been happening lately, almost every other sit has been this bad, even something as simple as RDM or NLR.

I can say this with complete confidence, the TitsRP staff team currently is in the worst state then it ever has been in before. The amount of incompetence, unprofessionalism, and lack of responsibility is astounding. People break the rules on me constantly, usually in the past I would make a report, but now my mind goes to "Is it worth staying in a sit for 15 minutes?" and I dont like that I think like this. I want to be clear, I do not blame the people on the staff team directly, although yes some of their personalities dont really fit having power, I dont blame it on the person themselves, I blame it on the environment, the rules, and the lack of discipline.

I dont want to bring up a problem, with out my idea of a solution, so here are some ideas:

    1. Actually give punishments to staff members if they mess up, I simply dont believe that this reprimanding thing is working, as staff that have been "talked to" still have a multitude of issues. Suspend them, make it to where they have to have a higher staff oversee their sit, make them shadow other trusted staff. Those are just a couple ideas I have.

    2. Get rid of most wiggle room within the MOTD. Get rid of things like "could" or "might" or things like that. Whatever rules can be set in stone, do it. Some things will need to be at staffs discretion obviously, but whatever doesnt have to be, make it black and white.

    3. Set a strict age limit to become staff, 16 would probably be best. I would say 18 but there arent that many people on this server that are even near that.

    4. Add a way to be able to rate how well the staff did, and appoint a staff member to actually look at them.

    5. Positive reinforcement, if a staff has been active, taking sits, and is well received in the community, recognize it and reward it. A simple "Hey man, you are doing great, keep it up!" can do wonders for people.

I might have more ideas I will think of later, but this is it for now.

You might be thinking, "But all powerful Papa Quas, this is a lot of work, I dont think we can do this" I say, if you want to ensure your server gains more players and a larger more positive community, this is one of the first steps. for every 1 new player that stays and plays, there is probably 100 leaving and never joining again.

I also want to say, I dont want this to seem like a just be hard on the staff for no reason thread, I want this to be fruitful, and I want something to come out of it. So, I do not want any arguing on this thread, please try to respect this, ive had issues in the past with arguing and I dont like it, nothing usually comes out of it and if it does, its very little.

wiremod fucks frames ong prolly an exploit in there too also there's teleporters in wiremod hell no nigga wtf

What Tene said, there is probably a multitude of exploits, most notably server crashing exploits. Not trying to crap on your suggestion or anything, I think its a solid idea, testing would be needed first though probably on the dev server, then a weekend of wiremod on the main server to see how it does with the performance. Not to mention all of the rules that would have to be added for it as well, if wiremod was to be added, it would be a large process I feel like.

@QuasI never said anything about an imbalance issue. This is a bug report for the reason that this doesn't seem like an intended result of this effect that Gru has.

This is true, however you intentionally give them every possible reason to retaliate. I watched you several times today and several days before pickup a kidnap body from the baby thrower effect, throw the body as high as you could into the air with a bludgeon so that when the player returns to their normal form midair, they take fall damage upon being thrown. I don't know if you want them to retaliate, but it sure seems like you do for some reason. Regardless, this isn't what this BUG report is about. This is just to show that you have all intention to abuse and exploit every aspect of the Gru job.

You are a liar. I threw them in the air, not one of them took fall damage. I simply threw them because its funny watching a ragdoll fly through the air.

  11. To me, it doesnt seem imbalanced at all. Its extremely random, you need at least 2 players to even attempt to execute it, they get knocked out for 3 seconds, not 5, and it is kidnapping so the same rules apply which means it KOS to everyone, main difference being if the player that got knocked out gets up, they can not kill Gru or it is FailRP. I needed a full party, all hands on deck to do this somewhat efficiently and we still failed a decent bit. Like Orch said, get off your CC every once in a while and try some new jobs, its pretty fun. Its simply teaming up with another job, nothing more nothing less.

Well regardless, going back to the main point of this post. If the people need it written out, it will be written out. Less confusion i guess.

In terms of staffing. Def staff is not a group of all knowing people. Rp is always evolving. Staff is simply there to make sure roleplay, if people want to roleplay, that it happens and nobody is fucked with to the point where it isnt fun. We dont really interfere with rp unless somebody is upset.

What we do is guide how the server and the general experience will grow. When new things are introduced, staff team is asked first sometimes. Or being staff allows for someone who is creative to have easier channels to share with the upper echelon.

If you are very creative and have all these ideas, then share them in a more positive way. Arguing w staff on the server achieves nothing but bad rep.

Keep in mind, we do ask players not to argue with staff but rather if there is disputes, go up the ladder if there is a higher rank there or do so on the forums. On the server, players are expected to listen to staff first unless what they are saying directly contradicts motd.

No, staff are tools, only use for the staff team is to ban mfers that are outta line. I can suggest ideas in a positive way but it will almost always turn into an argument. I dont have enough care for rule breaks on the server to be staff. It is very rare for me to report someone, I dont like getting people in trouble for the most part, unless its staff. If its staff, ill make a mf report.

you are "starting their rp" before they even have a chance to settle in themselves. Imagine if a player loaded in, sees a fucking line up to leave spawn. They'd be like tf is going on, this is garbage.

just because u arent having the best rp experience doesnt mean others arent. I myself still rp a plenty.

And guess what, if u want to change something, apply for staff and change it instead of just complaining lol

I keep the line moving, ive never had a line more then 3-4 people. And like I said, nobody RPs here if it slows the pace.

No reason for me to be staff, at the end of the day its just a title, I dont see staff as some all knowing group of people, I argue with staff all the time, especially when I know im right. Not saying this specific scenario that I know im right, because it is somewhat up for debate.

  14. Just now, antfucker98 said:

I never said it was propblock, I said it's blocking spawn. If there's a gate in front of me, it's blocking my path. I can lift the latch a proceed, but it's still a blocked area. But be sure to lemme know when you invent something useful.

Aye, I was on the verge of inventing some new plumbing equipment and im still workin on it so dont sleep on me.

  15. 17 minutes ago, antfucker98 said:

If that's all you took out of everything I said then there is no point in even discussing it with you. Again, you're a former staff member. You know better. But, you do like to push the envelope don't you Sal?

Only thing worth mentioning to make sure its known that its not prop block. And its in my nature to push limits, im one of those people what will invent something.

  16. 8 minutes ago, Reiko said:

Think about it this way. Spawn is where people load in. They pick their jobs, they gear up and they go into the city to START THEIR RP. What is the point of checking people who just loaded in like lol what? Are they gonna have a bounty from loading in?

Or are u trying to fine custom classes for owning weapons lmao.

Nobody truly RPs on this server, dont give me that. Every time I try and do any sort of RP in this server, people will just whine about it. Cuffed a guy in the middle of the street and started dragging him to the sidewalk saying "Dont want you to get hit by a car" and I fined him, and was dragged to a sit soon after for it. Anything that will be the slightest inconvenience in the name of RP will be completely swatted down by anyone on this server. And if they are trying to RP,im doing them a favor by starting it early.

  17. 2 minutes ago, antfucker98 said:

As a former staff member you should already know not to block the spawn tunnel. Call it a checkpoint if you wanna, but it's still blocking the spawn tunnel. You can literally post the checkpoint 10 feet down the street and accomplish the same thing without blocking the spawn tunnel. This is where common sense comes into play.

I think making not blocking spawn definitive in the MOTD is unnecessary but apparently it needs to be spelled out for people, so +1 to make it very explicitly stated in the MOTD that you cannot block the spawn tunnel.

Not blocking it, there are fading doors

  18. 13 minutes ago, Reiko said:

we dont allow cops , hobos whatever else build in spawn tunnels. Zestys suggestion is good. If people need it written out , nvm i take that back. People need it written out lmao so we will discuss this in the next staff meeting.

Please pm if you think of any other common sense situations that we should write out. 🤡

The point of a checkpoint is to check people and either clear them for passage or arrest/fine them, so I put a checkpoint in the spawn tunnel. in RP, this makes complete sense, since its the most people coming into the main city. You can say its common sense and try and pick up this unwritten rule nonsense and run with it but it wont make it true.
