Hello gang, it's your favorite Minecraft Content Creator Sanzu here to provide a definitive staff tierlist after collecting hundreds of anonymous testimonials from very real people who I'll not be revealing nor ever responding to any questions regarding their very real identities (they are real trust me) (this is also satire and if it upsets you you're part of the problem) ------------------------------------------- Superadmins: Rubik Pros: he's aight cons: he's aight Overall rating; B- Admins: Blue Pros: Experienced, understandably handles sits well. Can usually find a balanced middle ground as far as leniency goes, and has a good understanding of the importance of PR when making decisions. Cons: Has a long and common trend of making emotionally weighted or hasty decisions. Infamous examples include telling the entire staff team to not take sits from a group of players, pushing a massive negatively received change regarding how sits should be handled and taken, and inconsistently enforcing guidelines. Overall Rating and Notes: B. While he is the best admin we've had following the resignation, it's not a particularly high bar. Blue also suffers from IRL issues which can impact and hamper him (to no fault of his own). Blue could Overall benefit from taking more time to think decisions and their consequences through, but beyond that does his best with the very limited resources he has. Melancholia Pros: During their last staff run, was considered a quality SMod and showed massive improvement in a short span of time for the role. Has always had good sit quality throughout multiple staff runs, and for the most part does a good job at remaining impartial for what situations they do get themselves involved in. Cons: They were thrusted back into a role they had no time to ease into, then for whatever reason was bumped again into Admin. Melancholia on this staff run very rarely gets involved in situations that demand a higher up's attention, lacks any form of real leadership qualities, has contributed to no meaningful decisions or changes, and for all intents and purposes really feels like a DEI hire meant to fill a slot. Overall Rating and Notes: C-. Mel needs to start embodying the role he was given and start actually contributing to the server and decisions related to it. We've had more than enough inactive admins in the past and present and right now the cycle continues until Mel is more comfortable with the role he was thrusted into. Senior Moderators: Tali Pros: Tali has done a surprisingly good job with his new role, showing huge growth from their decent performance as a moderator. Tali has shown the ability to perform sits well, maintain reliable activity, and stay impartial in a vast majority of situations. Tali also does a good job maintaining good public relationships between the staff team and the community. Cons: Like most of the higher up team, a common trend is lacking some leadership qualities. Could benefit from a bit more backbone with their decisions. Overall Rating and Notes: A-. Tali is pretty much exactly the baseline of how an SMod should act. While he could absolutely benefit from better leadership qualities, he at the very least does lead well by example. No major notes or problems beyond that. Fujiyama Pros: From what very limited info I have since his promotion he hasn't really done anything problematic or bad. Pink Moderator. Cons: I literally have no idea if he's still alive or not Overall Rating and Notes: Wellness Check please Steve the Hare Harrington Pros: Sit quality is pretty much average. No real hangups during their time as an SMod. Maintains solid relationships between staff and the community for the most part. Cons: Still struggles to fully adapt to the role he was rushed into. Makes very safe decisions or avoids interaction with situations that could result in backlash against him. The Nancy larping is also a little weird. Like other SMods, lacks any notable leadership qualities. Overall Ranking and Notes: C. While not "bad" enough worth making any real notes about, Steve after all this time still struggles to come off as an "SMod" versus an above average mod. Steve needs to start actively participating in decisions and demonstrate leadership traits (which he probably could have done had he not been thrust into his position). Vex Pros: One of the few (if not the only) SMods actually able to demonstrate the ability to possess a backbone and act as a leader when needed. Has prior experience as an SMod, and actually worked their way back to the role. Vex has a good sit quality, the ability to remain impartial when needed, and retains good activity, interjecting when higher up attention is needed. Cons: Tea and crumpet devouring fucking euro brit fuck your timezone chud Overall Ranking and Notes: A. Besides being a disgusting euro subhuman Vex has always been in both this run and his last a reliable higher up and is another hallmark for how SMods should carry themselves. Blue Shirt Pros: Honestly a sleeper pick that should have gotten the role a good while back. Too early to judge his abilities as an smod right now, but his abilities and demeanor as a mod were respectable. Remains impartial, solid sit quality, etc etc. Cons: Too early to really speak of any. Tier list rating subject to change Overall Ranking and Notes: B. If he can maintain his qualities as a mod and fit himself into the role as a leader, could EASILY become an A tier SMod. Just needs to avoid common pitfalls such as indecisiveness and emotional decisions a lot of SMods tend to fall into early on. Hidden Chaos Pros: Despite being put into an awkward position following the mass resignation, Hidden has maintained a pretty solid quality as an SMod, and truly did earn himself the position. He has solid sit quality, maintains good communication with the rest of the staff team, and hasn't done anything negative worth noting. Cons: VERY safe decision making process, almost to a fault. Hidden rarely communicates with the community beyond VCs, has a below average forums presence, rarely makes any decisions on his own, nor does he spearhead his own stances when they are required. Overall Ranking and Notes: C+. While again not bad by any metric, Hidden along with many SMods struggle to properly lead when needed. Hidden especially rarely gets involved in a vast majority of situations and struggles to stand out among the other SMods. Could do with a bit more spine. Madx04something Pros: N/A Cons: At his absolute peak last staff run his reputation was "the guy who did absolutely nothing and resigned". Since his return as an emergency DEI hire, he has managed to go from doing absolutely nothing to making exclusively bad decisions. He has already been given a strike for inciting staff to make bad decisions, has a horrible public reputation, has repeatedly demonstrated OBVIOUS biased choices noticed even by other staff members. MadX has done nothing positive for the server at all since being promoted, frequently abuses his position, actively combats members of the community, and should be demoted now that he no longer needs to fill the slot he was brought in to fill. Overall Ranking and Notes: Worse than Hitler. Absolutely no advice needed beyond resignation or being inevitably demoted before that happens. Moderators: Crow Pros: His sits are fast and efficient with little room for criticism. Has a very positive reputation in the community, demonstrates the ability to remain remarkably impartial, and overall not a lot of issues to name. Cons: Could stand to be a bit more active on the forums and be a leader at times for smaller situations. Overall Ranking and Notes: B+. Give him back his T2 bee you greedy Doberman. Future SMod potential. Sleepy post Pros: Haven't seen much of them, but they do have a good reputation from their last view staff runs. Overall pretty much the definition of a solid moderator. Decent sit quality, decent community interaction, decent decentness. Cons: Could HEAVILY benefit from more activity and community interaction. More forums responses wouldn't hurt either. Overall Ranking and Notes: B. Please give this man a wellness check. ChefSoda Pros: Chef has been yet another shocking sleeper pick. The guy has good forums responses, is able to possess a good amount of backbone by expressing and defending his own opinions. I cant say much about their sit quality but the guy is an above average moderator despite a reasonably short run as staff so far. Cons: Honestly? Not much to list here. Could probably do with a bit more leadership to help him make the gap from Mod to SMod, but as of right now he does a solid job. Overall Ranking and Notes: A-. Easily a future SMod candidate. Not a retard (rare mod quality) Choom Pros: Decent enough. As far as being exclusively a mod goes, Choom does a passable enough job. Frequent community interaction, solid enough forums activity (even if the quality isn't all there) Cons: Pretty much the bare minimum of what a mod should be. Not necessarily a bad thing obviously, but aggressively unremarkable and pretty much just a sit slave. Overall Ranking and Notes: C+. If he wants to just be resigned to being a sitslave then the only note I have is to do more research on forums posts before voting. If he ever wants to make the leap to SMod however, he needs to drastically improve both in his leadership qualities and relations with the community. Definitely something to work at for a decent while. MildTsunami Pros: I have never had one positive interaction with this guy. I truly cannot list anything positive beyond the fact he seems decently active on forums. Cons: From my limited interactions with this guy, they seem combative, refuse to properly research before posting votes on the forums, and afk for playtime on the server. On the rare occasions I hop on, Mild also doesn't seem to take very many sits either. Overall Ranking and Notes: D. Needs dramatic improvement or to just resign. Waltuh Smallcox Pros: Genuinely haven't seen this guy do like anything in a long ass time. From what I remember they aren't bad by any stretch however. Cons: Possibly deceased Overall Ranking and Notes: C+. Please give this guy a wellness check Ruvtuu (Chairman Chair the Chair) Pros: Has shown the most growth I've ever seen in a staff member. Following their return to the team, Glorp/Riv/Chair has adopted a leadership role surpassing a majority of the upper staff team, has enough of a spine to make their own opinions and defend them, does proper research when making votes, and has a solid relationship with the community. Cons: Is gay Overall Ranking and Notes: A. Chairman has been very receptive to criticism across a number of staff runs (even if it took a good while). Easily a future SMod candidate. BatteryEaterOG Pros: Wait this guy is still staff?? Cons: I didn't even know this guy was still staff. Still a chud though Overall Ranking and Notes: C-. Go back to the forever LOA Gods Left Testicle Pros: Honestly no fault to this guy I genuinely haven't seen anything positive from him on account of being a newer staff Cons: A recent ban appeal has given a decent insight into his staffing qualities at this point in time. Banning a player for 3d for saying someone is fat in anon is EGREGIOUSLY other the top priors or not, especially when the player wasn't even given a chance to defend themselves. Overall Ranking and Notes: C-. Reread punishment guidelines and the TMod training sheet. Warlock Pros: chill guy, took my sit and handled it good. Slow, but good Cons: Uhhh his name I don't like it Overall Ranking and Notes: B. It's warlocking time Green Eyed Ghoul Pros: If I was making this list a few months ago I would have absolutely nothing to list here. Lately though the guy has actually had some decent forums opinions, relatively active presence on the server, etc etc. Cons: Still has the reputation from the start of his staffing career as someone who is decently biased and prone to pettiness. While hard to say if he still has these traits, his very rare if ever outreach to the community outside of occasional arguments hasn't done him many favors in dispelling this reputation Overall Ranking and Notes: C. Their staffing has improved pretty well to be fair, though their community relations still need a LOT of work. (GN) Isaac Pros: Has enough self awareness to switch back to mod instead of wasting an SMod slot doing absolutely nothing like some people. Decent sit quality and above average community reputation. Cons: An emergency DEI hire that accepted the role as SMod purely for the sake of being an SMod. Frequently combatted with members of the community, ignored genuine attempts to receive higher up help because he was annoyed he got pinged (as an smod). Very poor activity and overall disappointing during his time as a higher up despite his reputation as an old head. Overall Ranking and Notes: D+. If you don't have time to staff and are easily annoyed by being pinged, then don't become staff. Clowdle Pros: Alr flatout let me be honest I was going through the list and actually had to think about who this was Cons: dude who the fuck is this guy Overall Ranking and Notes: C? Uhhh yeah idk man this guy is a mod ig Steel chair Pros: From what I remember he's a good staff member I think, a little slow in the head though Cons: man I literally don't know these people have been too inactive for me to make fun of Overall Ranking and Notes: B-? Dude seriously can we start checking in on some of these mode I'm worried Crispy John - Too new, not gonna waste energy ranking until they do something (next tier list) ihateops Pros: John Sit Slave Cons: John Sit Slave Overall Ranking and Notes: C. He sitslaves and that's just okay Succ the Zucc Pros: Not typically swayed by other votes, will defend their opinions to a fault. On occasion does have decent takes (rare as they are). Has a decent reputation in some pockets of the community. (See I can compliment you) Cons: Has a VERY big problem with the way he carries himself. Frequently holds long standing grudges with members of the community, uses the "blunt" card to be a shameless dick more often than not, has AWFUL forums quality at times (nobody wants to read a vote 4 words long). Succ has also historically had an issue listening to higher up members of staff, very nearly resulting in a demotion. Overall Ranking and Notes: D. Anything I could list here would be completely wasted and ignored so all I can recommend is resigning. TheRealNiggaNoobslayer Pros: None Cons: Runnerup for quite possibly the worst staff member in recent history. Has an awful attitude problem, a terrible reputation in the community, poor sit quality, barely any informed forums activity, is actively combative with the community, and once again uses the "blunt" card as an excuse to be an insufferable ass. The only reason he has not been demoted is because he uses the excuse of his "medication" impacting how he staffs yet still refuses to resign. Overall Ranking and Notes: F. Resign and never reapply again. Anoo666 Pros: good one Cons: Without question the worst staff member we've had in recent history bar absolutely none. Makes repeated beginner level mistakes, has SOMEHOW by the grace of God managed to avoid being demoted despite being warned twice for the same thing in the same month, has a terrible reputation both in the community and from other members of staff, refuses to learn from his mistakes, can't accept any amount of criticism, and is incompetent enough to the point where randoms have to teach him how to properly staff. Overall Ranking and Notes: F-. Should never staff again anywhere probably period. Trial Moderators (worth mentioning) Wosh Pros: Too new, nothing positive to note yet Cons: Recently handled a situation in game VERY poorly. Not a great look for a TMod at all. Overall Ranking and Notes: C-. Retrain needed. Peterson Pros: None so far Cons: Nothing public, but this guy has been a TMod for an OBNOXIOUSLY long time. At best he chooses to be a tmod, and worse he's committed enough monumental fuckups behind the scenes to not be promoted yet. Overall Ranking and Notes: D. Either promote this guy or fail his TMod phase if he's that bad Honorable Mentions: Henchy Pros: He wanted to be on the list. Told retards not to be retards.
