Report On CX Bot.

Reasons why you are reporting:  Let's get the start of the story first. We successfully raided CX Bot's base with quite the valuables inside (7 processors roughly) and as you may expect he was extremely angry as we just destroyed the whole of CX gang with one c4. Anyways after we have raided them, CX Bot comes back and asks me if the raid is over for like 3 minutes, I leave after 3 minutes and then Smokey hits CX Bot with a Master Sword, now Smokey did not mean any harm at all and just wanted a good laugh out of it. I don't understand how CX Bot could get this angry at a video game. Right , so Smokey hits CX Bot and walks back, CX Bot chases him, freezes him and then warns him for "Attempt RDM" , Smokey then tries to defend himself but before he couldn't do so , CX Bot suicides.  In the video Smokey screams "DO IT, JUST DO IT" rationally you would think he meant "Kill me" as any other person would kill if they got hit. 

I think this is not right, not only did he not have a proper sit, and explain to smokey what he did wrong or even ask him "Why did you hit me" but he also did this very unprofessionally. We called for Fantasma as smokey asked me to call for him, and we told Fantasma about this, I was advised to make a report on the forums.

Personally,  I wouldn't have given out a warn , even if I did hate the person or was angry at that person for raiding my virtual items as clearly I would just know its a joke. Would he do this to his friends? Of course not , this just shows how hostile he is to people he doesn't like to the point of just jumping into conclusions and not letting the victim to defend himself.

Ok first of all, what I did what completely right, I warned him for Attempted RDM since he swung twice, as you can see in the video, and he was trying to get a rise out of me. You went and explained this to Fantasma as well.

There was no sit (as you actually didn't take him to a sit area or explained what he did wrong or asked him questions just straight up punishments), he swung twice, he hit you once. Smokey has bad ping on the server meaning he probably was still waiting for the first swing to register. He wasn't trying to get a rise out of you. You are naturally angry, at games from what I've experienced.

Now you explain why you warned him, possibly could you explain why did you not explain to smokey what he did wrong or even ask him why did you he hit you? Also why did you kill yourself when smokey was trying to defend himself. No where in the report I said you did wrong for warning him for attempt rdm, its the way you handled it. Read before you type, another prime example on bot jumping into conclusions.

Even asking "why did you randomly hit me" would've counted as a sit. This situation, attempted RDM or not, was not handled correctly.

In the video it clearly shows you two trying to get me mad you can't even say you didn't. Also to make a sit you don't need to take them to a sit area, I sometime do sits in the street if I don't have the time or they are massing. Your friend was told what he did wrong, and in the context of what had happen Idid and concluded the sit. I have done nothing wrong except the right thing.

The video shows that he was baiting me in to kill him as they had just made a party, so Jev could kill me. This is amazing how Jev wants to get me in trouble for doing the right thing.

I just want to point out that I agree that he was being an idiot and deserved it, but if proper protocol was not followed we need to figure this out because mistakes can be made if it isn't. I'm not on his side, I'm on the server's side.

Bot, if you don't have the time to question him on his actions then you don't have the time to punish him.

You're spouting on about completely unrelated things. LITERALLY NOBODY SAID YOU COULDN'T HOLD A SIT ON THE STREET. THE PROBLEM IS YOU DIDN'T HAVE A SIT IN THE FIRST PLACE, A SIT ALWAYS INVOLVES QUESTIONING THE SUSPECT

Sits don't necessarily need to take place in a "sit area," they can take place on the street, while Bot could've at least asked Smokey why he would hit him for no reason I don't think that Bot deserves a punishment for Smokey purposely hitting bot with a Master Sword that does around 50 damage which is way more than enough damage to count it as attempted RDM, the fact of the matter is that Bot was hit for no reason so he took his option of doing what staff can do and taking Smokey and warning him for smacking him with a Master Sword with no reasoning other than seemingly doing it for Bot to attack back so Jev could kill him.

You didn't tell him what he did wrong! You did kill in console to avoid the question which is literally walking away from a "sit " if you can call it that. And the bait to kill thing, you didn't know that in-game as he didn't say that in game chat, you only realised what he was trying to do when you saw the video so that still doesn't justify your actions. Also I didn't want to kill you, no where in the video you hear me saying "Oh yeah let me kill him" I knew it would have been the bad thing to do so I avoided it. And I don't want to get you in trouble for doing the bad thing, you just did a bad thing and I took actions. You were already mad because we raided you, so how can I make you mad again?

And what??? You  don't need to go to a sit area to a sit, yes while this is true in case of mass rdm and other sits but you had plenty of time to take him to a sit and interrogate him on his actions, it even says it on the "So you just became a staff member" thread . "The RDM'd player calls for an admin in @ chat, so you bring the player to the sit room"

I would say that the RDM Scenario is pretty much the same as what happened in the video. Tell me how do you not have time in a virtual game, you clearly had the time to freeze and warn smokey, why couldn't you ask him anything? Your friends are being raided so you quit the "sit" and help your friends instead of a player that is confuses about his warn? You know you had the time, this is just a blatant excuse.

 

You're meant to be a role model for me and other tmods, how can I look up to you when you don't even take "sits" properly.

You're telling me to be a role model, however you did this to kill me, you would not have made a party and then baited to kill me. I get that your are trying to defend your friend, but you or me are not in the right, he also deserved the warn the video even shows that. Yeah I should have said something other than you know what you did and then suicided, but what you did was wrong too.
