Plz Give Trade Cards Posted May 19, 2017 Share Posted May 19, 2017 Your Steam Name: Plz Give Trade Cards Your ingame name: Plz Give Trade Cards Your Steam Profile/SteamID: STEAM_0:0:80014036 Why were you banned?: FDA Why should you be unbanned?: A man started to raid me and i used my kill window to shoot at him, i originally got reported for that because apparently im not allowed to use my kill window if someone is blowtorching it and avoiding my door, witch i believe is not fair if they decide to blowtorch my kill window because of loop holes in rules. I got reported moderator came said that he and his friend were wrong, but that instead during the raid the moderator saw me use my fading door key to close my door during a raid witch is also incorect. The raider came in broke down the map door i bought and left i went out assuming its over, closed and locked it. minutes later he comes back shoots or breaks it down and leaves again. same thing i go out close it and lock and minutes later he comes back breaks it down and than starts blow torching. and the moderator banned me because apparently closing your door when you assume the raid is over is against the rules when he clearly left my base and by this time i assume hes trolling me. Evidence: Post videos, screenshots, anything that can help. Numerous screenshots help, a decently lengthed video helps too. Aortai Posted May 19, 2017 Share Posted May 19, 2017 I am not friends with Chance, I pm'd him to spectate me after he walked up on me while I was raiding because I was aware of the fact he was trial mod. Chance tried to explain to you as clear as possible that the reason you were being banned was not the kill door, but rather you opening your entry door with your keybind to come out and relock the front door, because you readily admitted to such because apparently my stepping outside rendered the raid over. FadedMan Posted May 19, 2017 Share Posted May 19, 2017 The story from my point of view: I was walking down the street and some guy asked me to spectate him while he raided trade cards. i spectate him while he's raiding, and i do see him blow torch trades kill window and then trade open it while he's doing it. but that is not why i banned trade, after trade would open his window and shoot meemstar (raider), meemstar would go right outside the door for cover to heal. everytime he did this trade would open his main fading door with his hotkey (as he admitted) and would close the door to his base(actual door not fading). he did this repeatedly and it is fda because he is using a fading door hotkey while being raided. just because the raider steps outside for a sec to heal does not mean the raid is over. the ban is justified Fading Door abuse is a week ban. It has always been like that. Raider left his raid so I believe that means the raid is over. Raider left his raid so I believe that means the raid is over. he was right outside door. plus he went to the right side of the door, there is only a wall there(he was in premade gunshop base (next to bar)). you are playing dumb or just lying. please wait for a higher up to submit the verdict. we have both said our sides of the story. plus you did it multiple times!! Did you guys see a button that he was pressing for this "Kill window?" How do you know if it's isn't a nocollide? There is so many questions about this ban appeal... The reason why FDA is a week ban because of 2 reasons: It's everywhere in the !motd/server rulesGives a complete unfair advantage to other players that are trying to have fun by raiding other people. In another words.... It's cheating. Now, you can use your keybinds when no one is around you; however, this report has to deal with someone raiding this players raid (Which is an RP scenario). If everyone is write about, what they are saying... Then this is fading door abuse and I don't see you getting unbanned. There is so many questions about this ban appeal... i did not ban him for the kill window thing, and no i saw no buttonHe admitted to using his hotkey to open his main fading door to close his base door (while being raided). he does not think it was a legit ban because he thinks that if a raider steps foot outside his base the raid is over, and while i was spectating the raided he went right outside against the wall of the base to heal because he was being shot from the kill window. If you are unsure about someone finishing the raid to your base, either wait out the maximum time of the raid OR talk to them... Since, you didn't do either of them AND you used the hotkey for an unfair advantage...
