He promotes the server if he likes it and he promoted it multiple times  He even said on every stream he promotes the server because he likes it he made videos on it. But a ban for tingles is not good

I had a whole different response typed out but I watched both videos (I skipped around on the steam archive) and I don't really see anything wrong. Here is my opinion on the situation

 

Tingle fanboyed hard (it's not the first time a mod has TPed people into areas and blatantly abused because of a streamer or youtuber and it definitely won't be the last). When I first heard of this situation last night, someone told me that Tingle was banned and demoted because he was giving you guns / allowing you to rdm. From hearing that, the ban / demote seems justified. I thought you came in and just decided to say fuck the world, lets blow it up.

 

But you basically just killed your fans that were berating you and that seems to be it. I think that promoting a server in a good way such as showing off cool features is definitely okay but you seem to bring more havoc than good. Which at an extent is understandable because it is DarkRP. You just don't find people that sit down and say "Lets play DarkRP" its more of "How much can we fuck up an already fucked up experience".

 

Even if it was "Lets play DarkRP" it's more like a "How many admins can we call in 5 minutes due to me suicide and thinking its 100% rdm"

 

I didn't see you get banned at the end of the video but it does seem you were banned for an extended amount of time by Neko Sam which he did tell me about.

 

Going over the points which I have gathered

• You joined the server to just do DarkRP things and cause some havoc
  
• A staff member brought you against your will and wanted to have a chat and give you guns because he thinks you're amazing
  
• You killed people who were from your stream
  

Of course if I missed anything, feel free to point them out. I don't think a 27 week ban is needed. Tingles did what any other fanboy would do. While staff members should be expected to act kinda more mature, it happens, this is a gmod server after all.. it's not the first and not the last time this will happen. Personally, I think Tingles should be demoted back down to trial or just remain a regular user since we did demote a staff member for a single fading door abuse (still feel really bad about that) it's best to stand behind staff rules what what not.

If you owned a bakery that got a good amount of people each day and randomly snoop dogg came into the bakery with his paparazzi and says "Lets fuck shit up" and breaks everything in sight and then posts it on his social media saying "Yo, I just fucked this place UP!", would you still call that promoting it?

 

I already have a decent playerbase. I think promoting is definitely fine and respectable if you do it correctly, this is not doing it correctly but this is DarkRP. Just because LostInPlace is a streamer, it doesn't mean that everything he does is okay and it definitely does not mean that any further bans on him get like a silent unban from an admin / me. In this situation I saw a decent length of the twitch stream where he just ran around and got brought by a staff member to get guns. I don't think that is a reason to get banned since he didn't even get banned until after he left.

Thanks for taking the time to review the videos and the facts. If I am reading this right my ban has been removed and Tingle is no longer banned, just demoted to a trial mod? If so, thats a very reasonable solution. I have always spoken highly of TitsRP and I will continue to do so. In the future, if I join the server while streaming, I will try to keep my viewers from causing too much havoc. This is a hard thing to do but usually 80% of us that join just wanna casually RP and have some fun, not ruin anyone else's experience. Thanks again and I look forward to visiting again someday down the road.

 

PS. Quarel is still a piece of shit IMO (no offense)
