Banned for breaking a rule that doesn't exist (VIDEO)

A trial mod thought he would be a big man and take things into his own hands. I was banned for minge, failRP, and "cuff abuse". Here are the things I'm accusing him of, before we get started:

 

- Command abuse (used @jail to jail me during an RP situation to save himself)

- Enforcing a rule that doesn't exist (Thinks I 'cuff abused' even thought I read the rules thoroughly and that rule isn't there. Also, building inside of the PD as CP isn't a rule he accused me of breaking.)

- Being too hot-headed (he failed a bank raid and threw all sense out of the window)

- Unfair sit (gagged and muted me so I couldn't say anything for the most part in the sit)

- Sit control (Did not let the higher up staff member handle the sit when he was unsure of the outcome, just went ahead and banned me without saying anything)

 

I  have 1500 hours in this game, most of it DarkRP, and this is a classic underage person who isn't quite ready to hold a power spot. If I was here to minge, would I make this? Use that common sense you love to bring up. You can't enforce rules that aren't there, you fucking animal. I failed to capture the jail incident, but here is what happened:

 

I was guarding PD. Somehow, I still have no fucking idea how, but somehow he got past 2 of my fading doors without me knowing. I put the code in, ran inside, and cuffed him and his friend. I fined them both 10,000 (as per the limit in !motd) for raiding PD. He paid the fine, and knowing he was about to kill me to continue the raid, I cuffed him again. I immediately killed him for being past the second door of PD, though. Right before he died, in an attempt to save himself and salvage his friend, he used his @jail bind and jailed me. He brought me to a sit trying to say I did something wrong, but there are NO RULES  against anything I did in there. This was a false ban made by a hot headed trial mod, and here's your proof. I'm not looking for an unban as much as I'm looking for something to be done with this person, who clearly isn't fit to handle sits.

Ok, so if you guys did not watch the video, I explained to him multiple times what he did wrong, but he refused to listen to me, and still accused me of using the jail command falsely during an rp situation, but I jailed him to tell him what he was doing wrong and have him not kill me so I could talk to him. Second, honestly dude, I understand that rules may not be RIGHT in front of you, but common sense plays a HEAVY part on this server, so you say "Cuff abuse isn't a rule". Sure, it might not say it directly, but if you think about it, why would that be allowed, randomly and constantly cuffing someone? Well, your answer here, is Common Sense. You say it wasn't a fair sit because I gagged and muted you, but MY reasoning for that is you kept talking over me after being told to stop, and even after I gagged you, I allowed you to type, but again, I asked you to stop since you obviously weren't paying attention as I was talking to you if you were thinking about what to type. When you mention how you cuffed me, fined me, cuffed me again, and then killed me, here comes that word again... common sense. You were minging by not paying any attention to what I was saying, and constantly going against it if you were actually listening. A big point I have to add is I asked Mi Cara, the HIGHER UP, what I should do, and him and another mod told me to ban you, and even asked if I wanted it extended after I did. Lastly, honestly, why say I'm "power hungry" and "Don't know the rules" if I was telling you what you did wrong, but you wouldn't even bother to pay attention or listen to what I was telling you. Honestly, this whole thing comes down to that word, Common Sense, but you still try and tell me you did nothing wrong. I believe the ban is fair, and I not sure why anything should be done about me doing my job, and if I was "power hungry" wouldn't I have just banned you without having any conversation whatsoever? Please respond to this, I would like to see what you think after reading this and hopefully you finally understand.

Let's pretend cuff abuse IS a rule. Let's pretend that me left clicking you with handcuffs that ONE time is punishable. You banned me for a whole fucking day, for just that. Not RDM, not disrespect, left clicking you with handcuffs one extra time. You over did it, by a FUCK ton. You didn't let the higher up handle the sit, you panicked and banned me before the higher up that I requested make a final decision. You are totally unfit for a position of power. If you are saying he told you to ban me, then he and everyone else who told you to is ALSO in the wrong. I don't believe anyone on there is as quite as dumb as you, so for that defense to hold any weight, you need to open blogs and prove that they told you to do that. As seen in the video, that moderator acted like he had no idea what you were doing when you went quiet, so if he DID tell you to do that, then that means he's also too soft and was afraid of confrontation, making him also unable to hold a position like that and do it correctly.

 

 You're backed into a corner and now you're pointing fingers, because you know you've made a mistake.

I suggest you go ahead and read you staff guidelines, quiz yourself, and the read/quiz yourself on the rules. Then, try to learn what "FailRP" and "Minging" are, ok? If you need help, I can tutor you. We'll get through your condition, don't worry. I'm done replying to this topic until I see someone of relevance post on this. My video clearly shows him panicking, contradicting himself, and just being altogether unsure about the whole situation. Basically being weak in general. I'm confident, 100%, that he fucked this up in a couple of different ways. I'm also confident that the cuff thing should be added to your rules if butthurt trials are going to make this big of a deal about them.

I know this may not be my place to say what I think, as I am only a mod, but I believe the v0xel is in the right. I watched his video and after hearing both sides of this story, I don't think that v0xel did anything wrong. I want to say something about each of the major points in this video.

• v0xel broke no rules.
  
• Govector shouldn't have jailed v0xel.
  
• Govector shouldn't have gagged AND muted him, I can understand that if he was really "screaming" the way Gov. makes it sound like, how a gag might be in order, but a mute isn't necessary. 
  
• As some side notes, I think that Gov. should have contacted a higher staff at first request, when v0x. initially asked for one, is when one should have been brought.

Okay so I watched the whole video and I have some solutions to your problem which you may find enjoyable.

 

To start things out, cuff abuse does not exist. Based off what happened, v0xel didn't do anything wrong. He was smart to recuff you because he knew you were going to kill him right after you paid your fine. Don't you think killing an officer after paying a fine is failrp?

 

If you're thinking "But sugar, that isn't in the rules so I can kill a cop after he fines me", then the same statement holds true for voxel's situation where he cuffed someone again because he knew from their past experiences that he was going to kill them.

 

An easy solution to this is to negate all damage from the finer and the victim for like 10 seconds which will go in for the next reset since personally, I think it's a very frowned upon action that only leads to trouble.

 

When Mia Cara was there, he even said that "Staff even do this all the time so I am not too sure". Yes common sense is in the rules but this doesn't really fall under that category. Common sense for a CP job involving cuffs would be like, don't cuff someone and have no intention to fine them or don't cuff someone for no reason.

 

If killing a cop after fining them isn't a publishable offense then why would you punish someone for re-cuffing you when they knew you were just going to kill them?

 

 I talked to a few admins and we came to the conclusion that I think it's time to put your badge down. You have been trial mod for way too long and you really take priority of RPing rather than being mod. You did try to take the approach of being more mod like a few days ago but I think it has been long enough, sorry. You really are a good guy and you do mean well but I just don't think you're made out for being a mod.
