I do think you are going to have to serve this ban as it is 100% justified and you have been given plenty of leniency, it's up to you to educate yourself on NLR rules before coming back, otherwise this will happen again. If you think it's breaking the rules - it probably is, if unsure use !rules or ask a staff member. -1 for reduction or unban. I was previously under the impression that RDMing in a sit is less damaging than RDMing in mainland (it is a controlled environment) I also wasn't sure that you could die in there. A sit though is a non-rp zone, so you really shouldn't be doing anything while in a sit other than talking. In a general sense, RDM is RDM. RDM in a sit shows a lack of respect or care for the situation and therefore gives a lack of leniency for the offense you could currently be in. Besides that, commit the crime, do the time. After looking through your recent ban history, as of recent, it seems like every time you get unbanned, you break another rule and get banned again. Its started to look like a trend of you either not caring or not taking the time to read the rules and educating yourself on the guidelines of the server. You just got off of a 1w ban for MRDM and MNLR, then a day or two later, you go and do it again. This honestly could have ended up being a 2w ban depending on the staff taking the sit. You say that you were trying to go to a roof of a building (which seems like it was owned) and kept breaking NLR after you died. Not once did you think, "hmmmm, maybe I am doing something wrong here" or "let me contact staff cause I got rdmd." Please take the ban this time around to actually read the rules and become informed. Waltuh Posted August 1 Share Posted August 1 I'd treat this appeal better if you hadn't tried to do anything when you come back. We usually (not always) treat passersby and people who just want to come back to chill more lenient than the ones who come back, destroy ents, and try to kill people. While looking at it, 7 days seems harsh, but given your current ban record and warn record for NLR/MNLR, I think your ban should be kept. It's only 3 days, its not a tremendous amount of time. Steve Harrington Posted August 1 Share Posted August 1 Hello good sir, Mr Harrington here, looking over the logs as well as reading over your post and some of the responses. I’m not sure why killing the person in the sit would “judge your connection” but no don’t do that. If you are breaking a rule we are more lenient with players who are respectable in sits. Sadly this does not include killing the person who reported you in the sit. This being said you did admit it yourself and do have a history of this behavior. I would recommend following the rules and not coming back after you did. If your building you can make a building sign. But refrain from returning to your previous point of death and interacting in roleplay. -1 for van reduction!
