I was raided while cooking meth, and after the raid, I returned to resume my operation. All my props had been set to no-collide prior, allowing anyone to walk freely in and out of my base without obstruction. I assumed the raider had left since there was nothing in my base except a tent. However, when I arrived back shortly after, the raider was sitting inside and immediately killed me, even though I had done no damage and never had a gun out. ( I understand why he did) I was not interfering with the raid, as there was nothing to take. When I returned to the street a second time, he shot me again, and after that, I killed him. This back-and-forth killing continued near my base, with me simply trying to get back inside to start cooking again. Eventually, he started waited in a corner outside of spawn to kill me and then went back into my base to wait for me again. I had no intention of stopping him from raiding or interfering with his actions. I admit I broke the New Life Rule (NLR) the first time by returning so soon, but I had used my best judgment as stated in the rules "Please use your best judgment to determine whether or not it is okay to return to a place after death." This isn’t the first negative interaction I’ve had with this player so it felt like board line harassment. All I wanted was to cook that pure baby blue Heisenberg crystal to feed my kids. I admit my wrong doings in the situation and should of called staff before it escalated, I do apologize. and hope to do better in the future! Why should you be unwarned/unbanned? I’m writing to formally address the recent moderation action regarding my alleged violation of NLR. As the individual who initiated the situation, I want to clarify that: No prior issues: I have no history of nlr rule violations and consistently contribute positively as a daily player, more often than not focusing on cooperative activities like cooking and farming. Unbalanced response: The moderator appeared to dismiss my explanation while not addressing the other party’s involvement in the rdm/nlr rule breaking, creating a one-sided evaluation. Context matters: The incident involved minimal stakes (a tent) with no strategic benefit to violating NLR, making the 7-day ban disproportionate to the alleged offense. I urge reconsideration of this penalty given my clean record and the situation’s trivial nature, which escalated beyond reasonable measures. I believe it was imposed hastily. I also want to acknowledge that Andy is a good moderator, and to his credit, the situation between myself and the other gentleman became quite heated. I appreciate that the moderator handled the situation appropriately given the heightened circumstances. I'm not looking for retribution or to get even I just want to get back to grinding tilling plots and cooking meth. Because I don't think Andy would just ban for a week for no reason. I'll wait until he responds to make my decision. Specifically, during the raid on your base, the player who started the raid had to eliminate you 4 times. If you had chosen to wait across the street or even on the beach area to see the situation and go back after the raid is over, that would have been within acceptable limits. However, repeatedly returning to the raid zone is a big no no. Regarding the one-week ban, I understand it may seem harsh. From what I recall during the sit, your behavior was toxic toward the other player involved. Unfortunately, I do not have full recordings of the incident only a screenshot from Medal so I won’t comment further on that aspect.
