I was banned while offline for the supposed reason being RDM and LTAP neither of which are things I committed in my playtime over the past couple days. I was not warned about these issues beforehand, and so this is totally out of nowhere. I was playing all day today minding my business and when I came to log back in after taking a break I see the ban message which makes no sense. I've been having a lot of fun the past week and have been playing this server a lot and have been respectful. Why should you be unwarned/unbanned? I have not committed any of the acts which I was banned for in my playtime this past while. I was banned offline, hours after getting off so this must be a false ban. I did not leave to avoid a ban as there is nothing I could understand having done which would lead me to want to 'avoid a ban'. I was not warned of anything of the sort, and have been keeping to myself playing with all the rules in mind for a while now and having a lot of fun. Who warned/banned you? New health: 20 <27-02-2025 / 19:02:48> These logs show you killing Zomper without reason, and you disconnecting 6 seconds after doing so, thus the RDM and LTAP, and you have a prior warn from Feb 18th of this year, which is why I banned you for 3d. I've been made aware that LTAP can be a grey area, so if others want to weigh in and give their opinion on that I'd appreciate it. HOWEVER, I think a 3 day long ban for killing someone only once, is unwarranted/extreme. I did not disconnect to avoid any such ban, and I imagine there are reasons for attacking such individual a few times that I could provide with more contexts. So I would appreciate you reconsider this bans length at the least. Ecstatic tongs Posted February 28, 2025 Share Posted February 28, 2025 (edited) The primary reason you were banned was for your prior warn on Feb 18th for RDM, the punishment has to increase for repeated offenses. Since the LTAP is in a grey area I'd be fine with reducing the ban to a 2d and removing the LTAP from the ban.
