can you color stacks of the same type of item, but not the same effects/names?

for example, im trying to color different stacks of foods, ( right click and then pressing color, selecting the color i want ) but whenever i go to color the 2nd stack, the 1st stack i color, has its color disappear, and turn into the default color. i know i can do this, because there's a video in the forums somewhere of a raid going on, him going to his inventory, and his foods being different colors.

if you're on about the actual food burger icon being pink that is a custom texture on the guys pc. if you're on about the actual colouring of the little ring then iirc food is all technically the same item it just checks the recipe it was made from when used (afaik), so colouring smoke food green and trying to colour damage food red just wouldnt work. i can test this in a little though cause theres a chance im wrong
