"Lying to staff" "purposely supplying guns for RDM" Why should you be unwarned/unbanned? I donate guns to players every day, and I often put up gun stands with guns for $2 each, many players have thanked me for these guns, some have become regular daily players to the server and even told me my cheap guns is why they stayed on the server. Sometimes they RDM with the guns, but I never tell them to do this or encourage this. I had some shitty guns in my inventory, and dropped some guns and armor at spawn, a player took them. I saw this player again in spawn shortly after, he had immediately died, not knowing what's going on, I asked if he needs anther gun, he nodded yes, so I dropped him another gun and armor. I go to fix my dupe at police department and suddenly get pulled to a sit. I was told the player I gave guns to was an RDM'er. I explain my side of the story, and I was told "So now you're lying to staff". It was not a lie, that's exactly what happened. I am being punished for charity. Do you ban every gun dealer for selling guns if the guns are used for RDM? I did not incite RDM, I never told this player to RDM, if they were RDM'ing it was not on my behalf. I was too busy reading chat as players were telling me my police department dupe was broken; I was literally pulled to a sit while I was fixing my PD dupe. Who warned/banned you? I find it VERY hard to believe you randomly chose to hail down this guy saying "oh is that zombie again?" without knowing what he was up to and supplying both armor and a gun to this guy. As he only killed one person w your gun, I banned you in relation to that one kill although now its got me thinking. Biggie Bear Posted August 12, 2024 Author Share Posted August 12, 2024 I have been banned for purposely supplying weapons for RDM before; I gave a player c4 and told them "go bring this to a big group of people", it was a mistake, and it was a long time ago, not something I have ever done again since. That is not what's happening here at all. I was handing out guns and armor in the spawn, this player took them. On your own video you see me standing around handing out armor and guns. I saw him a second time after he died almost immediately, and said "oh is that zombie again?" , because he had died so fast. He had died, I thought he was RDM'd or killed by a hitman or bounty hunter, unsure, I handed him another gun and armor pack, I didn't ask him why he had died, I didn't ask him what he was going to do with the guns, I didn't tell him what to do with the guns, that was his own business. It's all right there in your own video, I didn't tell this player to RDM at all, I was just helping a new player. I do this regularly, it is no different than a gun dealer supplying guns, it is no different than dropping loot crates as gifts, it is a gift, and that was it. In this scenario, I was just helping new players stay strapped and defended as it is very common to be killed on this server and it's best to be able to defend yourself. I see nothing wrong here, except the player using what I gave him to "kill one person", very unfortunate, but I never told them to do this. They should be punished for RDM, not me. Punish the RDM'er, not the people giving charity. As set by other precedent sits and cases, even if you dont explicitly tell someone to rdm, if you know someone is going to rdm with what you give them and they do it, you can also get punished. Just like that staff member we had who dropped an sbc for a player and said player went to mrdm. Did that person tell the player to mrdm? no not really. The part where it implicates you is that I find it very hard to believe that you were as innocent as you are trying to paint. This person was on a mrdm spree for at least multiple minutes as you can see with multiple sits on them and many players complaining about them in ooc. I think you knowingly provided this player with guns and armor allowing them to continue. Sure you can say they can just buy a gun or get a gun from somewhere else. But they are already being punished for that. What you are being punished for right now is aiding in the action that ruins other peoples rp experience. Just leave them alone and stay out of it. And if you were as innocent as you claim to be, why did you lie to me in the sit? You did not tell me the truth of how things went down and i double checked what you said against my clip that I had took even during the sit. It's not my job to be looking at what every player is up to, I'm not watching the killfeed and checking logs for each player who dies/kills a player. I was simply donating to random players in spawn, which I do every day, after giving this one player a gun, I saw him respawn right away, and when I saw him again I gave him another gun. He could have been killed by an RDMing police officer, he could have been killed in crossfire, he could have been killed by terrorist or abomination, a lot of things could have happened. I didn't ask why he died, I didn't ask who killed him, I didn't care, that's not my job to deal with any of that, I'm just trying to be generous and enjoy the game. I didn't lie to you in the sit, I said to you "he didn't use text chat" when you said you were going to check logs, and he didn't use voice either, he just nodded yes when I asked if he needed a gun, that's what I meant when I said he'd asked for it, I asked if he wanted it, he nodded yes, and you banned me before I even had a chance to explain myself proper, you just right away called me a liar. It had happened a few minutes ago, I wasn't even thinking anything about it, I didn't bother to remember, it didn't seem like a big deal until I got pulled to the sit, I didn't remember the exact scenario as I have donating so many guns to so many people, I can't be expected to remember every single player I interact with and the exact details of my interactions with them. You also said you would bring another Smod to the sit for a second opinion, and you didn't, you might have PM'd them, but I never got a chance to speak with them and try to explain myself, even in this forums case, it is very one sided, it's just you and me again, and nobody else is chiming in to share their thoughts on the matter, I feel like I am talking to a brick wall, a brick wall that doesn't like me. I was doing my own thing, dropping guns for players, sorting my inventory, and getting private messages about my PD dupe being busted; in your own video a player asks me to fix the jail dupe over voice chat, and that's when I stopped donating guns and went off to fix the PD dupe. Did you even check the chat logs to see how many private messages I was getting and replying to? I was very busy at the moment, I wasn't paying attention to what this player might have been doing at all. You pulled me to a sit while I was fixing my jail, and I didn't understand why, then you started accusing me of things I didn't do, I was confused and barely recalled the last few minutes as I was only thinking about fixing my dupe at the moment. I told you I was fixing my jail dupe as well, and you banned me before I could save the dupe, thanks for that. Despite being innocent, I have yet again had to serve the time of the ban. I only ask you to remove this from my record, as I am not guilty of what you have accused me of doing and your own video proves my innocence. Please just admit you were wrong this one time that's all I ask. Again, I dont believe that someone who was just sitting in spawn donating guns and armor to people, not doing anything else, not roleplaying, not building, not actively talking to people will not notice the fact that someone was racking up as many kills as this person had or the multiple people complaining about this in chat.
