Why were you banned or warned?

In game, I typed "/voteban _____ (don't remember the name) to see how many hours I needed to be able to voteban. Of course, THE LOG STATED AS ALWAYS that I don't meet the requirements to voteban. Which I've known for AWHILE NOW. Doakes (STEAM_0:1:532415933) presumed I was attempted to voteban someone and instead of talking to me about it, just straight up banned me no questions asked.

Why should you be unwarned/unbanned?

Because I never actually attempted banning anyone. I was checking the hours required, which was 100. I had 91.

Ultimately I would like to request this ban either be removed from my profile or at the very least a comment be added with the voteban log that clearly states it wasn't intentional. It was literally to check the hours needed, which I've done before with multiple staff online. I imagine Doakes banned me without looking into the situation because there wasn't alot of staff online. People on the discord were at one point complaining that only 1 staff was taking sits by himself, and it was the trial moderator Harp. So I imagine Doakes just raced to ban me without REALIZING the voteban never went through because MY ACCOUNT DOESN'T MEET THE REQUIREMENTS

I can’t even see in the logs where you called a voteban meaning yes it didn’t go through so I see no reason why he would voteban you

Thanks for checking the logs! The guy who banned me, his record has 48 warns and 38 bans, while I have 0 warns and 1 ban from him. If that says anything more to the situation

This was a misinput the voteban reason was meant to say " False Vote Demote " and not " False Vote Ban " very much a mistake on my end and the only reason I vote banned you is because you kept making false vote demotes

I was an undercover cop, you DID falsely arrest me and then you blindly votebanned me without thinking twice. Pretty sure Heosphoros the Trial Moderator was online when it happened, so you also broke the role of using voteban WHILE staff was online.

 

TWICE you wronged me. First by FALSELY arresting another cop. THEN by FALSELY votebanning me for the rightful demotion of your officer role (which was only a 2 minute demotion?! You VOTEBANNED ME because of a 2 minute PD cooldown?!)

 

Either time you could've looked into the situation. I had a bounty. The game literally tells you I'm an UNDERCOVER COP above my username, so you ABSOLUTELY COUDLN'T locate and identify me without noticing. Which I might be willing to believe if it weren't for the fact that you blindly votebanned me afterward, even though I'm pretty sure in your role vote demotion I stated "Arresting other cops" as the reason.

Undercover cop is still a cop. Arresting cops is failRP and should be avoided as much as possible.

Thank you. With this confirmation that I was falsely banned, may the ban appeal be approved and lifted from my record?

I was banned without substantiated evidence or proper justification. Afflicto Gaming reviewed the situation and confirmed that I did not commit the alleged offense. The following day, the user who vote banned stated he actually intended to ban me for a different reason. Communicating the alleged reasons LATE? making access to necessary logs impossible as I understand it. How can I access the logs?? as far as I know they reset every 24 hours. And I find it, especially absurd that he is not required to supply any sufficient evidence against me, even in light of our innocent until proven guilty ruling. 

 

I find it perplexing that I am ultimately being required to provide evidence to overturn the ban when I have consistently maintained a clean record within the community. Meanwhile, the user who brought about the ban has a history that contrasts sharply with mine. In the interest of fairness and transparency, I urge the community to reconsider this requirement and uphold the principle of 'innocent until proven guilty.' It is essential that all decisions, especially those involving penalties such as bans, are grounded in clear evidence and equitable treatment.

 

Staff has told me that this ban appeal absolutely can not be approved unless I supply evidence (I can quote that if requested). So if anything, I’m really being punished for CatholicAuthority’s miscommunication, hindering my ability to access the logs, as I understand it. It is a fact that I took effort to access logs and support myself. It is also a fact that Catholic did not. I know, for a fact, the logs were in my favor, and that there is no favor against me, but actually evidence against Catholic authority, who he himself admitted he miscommunicated- and because of that late communication, I’m being punished since logs can’t be accessed.
