Rubik
I took a look at the evidence (screenshots) of what Hyder posted in general-chat to try and better understand why he posted them. I understand that Aflicto is a content creator, has his accounts linked, has advertised them in the past, etc. but what Hyder posted was a single frame of this guy's face with zero context.. no "hey guys check out this awesome cc that's making dope content. Here's a link to his channel". Nothing like that, just a screenshot of this guys face. I understand the argument that - "well, this guy posted it online for everyone to see and therefore it's in the public domain". That is 100% true, however he didn't ask for someone to screenshot his face, post it in a Discord with a bunch of his friends that have little or no exposure to his content, and have captions added to his image in a ridiculous manner. My concern is that if we don't take a hard stance on situations like this, it will give a green light to other people to do the same thing and think they can get away with it. This situation might not be as serious but next time it could be. The fact of the matter is that - Aflicto has an issue with his image being posted. He didn't ask for you to plug his shit and he didn't ask to be the butt of your joke, Hyder. I've decided that due to the context of your post and it clearly being aimed at drama mongering and ridiculing Aflicto rather than crediting his work or promoting his content, I'm going to consider this a violation of rule 5. Posting other user's information / pictures without permission will result in an immediate slam. As the saying goes - play stupid games, win stupid prizes. You can keep playing on the server as long as this behavior doesn't carry over onto there and you can appeal your Discord ban after a month or two. 3
