Yes true, BUT you can not build while raiding so therefore you broke a rule. If you want to get technical and be like "oh it doesn't say i can't build while raiding", you can not build outside.

 

Pretty sure you could have easily placed it on a player, you didn't need to spawn a prop. IF sugar blocked it from being placed on players he probably doesn't want you doing this :)

I know that it was against the rules. I really don't know what I was thinking. he made It sound like it was an exploit and from my knowledge it's not exploiting. Unless I'm wrong.

I am just going to explain my side of the story. When this was all happening I was inside of my base, I then looked through my cameras and see Albinos spawning a jail cell prop, Albinos is a moderator he should know this. I don't understand why Bobo classified as assisting in the raid, why is he there in the first place? If you want to get technical he's altering how the raid plays out by giving his party members who ARE raiding armor. Also Shadoe was apart of the raid, he used his master sword to jump over the existing props to get into the base. If this was allowed I would be using drugs (such as the higher jump effect from weed) and the spider-man gun to access peoples bases during raids. I do not understand how these screenshots are "useless" they provide clear evidence that a major rule was broken from a moderator. I am not witch hunting, I am just tired of not being listened too from people that should have open ears (Staff).

You bring up how I accused you and only you of witch hunting, and you are 100% correct. You ARE witch hunting. I never mentioned your friends. No one here accused your friends of witch hunting. They only really seem to be supporting your argument by adding more to the strawman.

 

They are not part of the question. Sure, Phoonix has made 3 reports, but they are all over 7 days old with one from early March. One wasn't proper format. So, Phoonix isn't witch hunting or even really trying to witch hunt. Papi, however, has never made a report and only seems to be helping you out in this report. So you are correct again, it wouldn't be considered witch hunting if Papi or Phoonix made a report about this instead of you. This report is your second in two days. All for an issue that could have been resolved by talking it out and understanding both sides.

Well to be totally honest when its just trial moderators on, all you guys do is RP and raid. You don't even accept sits, its mind-boggling.

Even if I am witch hunting what's bad about it? I'm noticing flaws in the server when you're unable to.

I PROPOSE THIS: Literal witch hunts for any staff not doing their job or abusing. If everyone had Bandicam/Shadowplay running at ALL times, then many staff now would be gone. If a staff member/group of staff are not doing their jobs, call them out, record them being lazy, report them. Literally just go in OOC "John Smith is not doing their job" or "John Smith, Smith John, and Sohn Jmith are not doing their jobs".

 

Players honestly need to motivate their staff. We have a head admin on every now and then and Sugar comes on once in a blue moon. A couple admins (who I will be talking to Sugar about) are seriously feeling as if they are the kings of this server and need to be talked to. I will now begin calling out, reporting, and doing anything to get the staff back to the point it was when I first started here.

 

Please no witch hunts. I have been getting a lot of messages of other staff members feeling stressed because other staff have been telling them if they don't do their job, they will get demoted.

 

• Staff are volunteers. They are not paid. Some of them apply to help, some of them apply for the pure joy of having powers. I cannot tell the difference unless it's super obvious at first.
  
• Staff don't have a required amount of sits to go to
  
• Staff are also players, they will play the game while they do sits
  
• The only purpose of staff is to keep the server clean
  

 

Of course if you don't want to help in the slightest then I will just demote you. It's not like I am going to ban you or something. It's just that.. don't apply if you don't want to help. You waste everyone's time and you make our server's staff team look like a joke.

 

I say this so many times but it's not so much the staff but the players and my fault for the insane amount of sits. Players ask for sits, not mods. Mods just handle them.

 

Rules are convoluted and there is just way too many of them. I am planning to revamp rules in the near future. In all honesty, maybe less rules would = less sits.

 

Player 1 breaks a rule -> Player 2 calls for an admin -> Admin goes to player 2 -> Admin listens to Player 2 -> Admin brings Player 1 -> Admin listens to player 1 -> Player2 and Player1 fight about the problem -> Admin looks into logs -> Admin either finds something in the logs or doesnt -> Player 1 and player 2 are still fighting -> Admin makes the decision to warn player 1 for some reason. This process can take anywhere from 60 seconds - 5 minutes.

 

Repeat this whole process 2 more times for player 2 and you will have him banned for 24 hours. Great. I tell my staff to ditch the warning and go the kicking and banning since that solves problems. Even if the ban is for 1 - 8 hours, it saves you so much time + that player may never return. You only ever warn players for sincere mistakes, which even at that point you should just give them a verbal warning.

 

When a process like this has to be taken up every 1 - 2 minutes and even every 15 - 45 seconds it puts a LOT of stress on the staff. Especially when the player is spamming admin chat "ADMIN", "ADMIN", "ADMIN WHAT THE FUCK", "ADMIN YOU LAzZY SAK OF SHIT I WILL FUKIN REPORT U", "FUK YOU ADMIN I NEED U NOW", "ADMINN OMG". (This is a kind of player that needs a 5 hour ban BTW)

 

If you want a reality check if a staff member does sits, PM me. I can look it up really easily.

 

TL: DR Don't witch hunt. PM me if you want me to check on logs or if a staff member is doing sits. Recording is great but don't make everyone feel like they are being watched. This is a Gmod server not a prison for mods

You should probably think or look into your argument before you bring it up, once again, nice try.
