Mouthpiece
Your In-Game Name: Irrelevant Your Steam ID: Irrelevant Who are you reporting?: GoatNuts Why are you reporting this player?: Flagrant disregard for the rules. Had the sewer vent in PD blocked off with a money pot and shortly afterwards instituted a lockdown with no valid RP reason. Do you have evidence related to this incident?: Yes Relevant Info: https://imgur.com/a/oDkEcLM https://imgur.com/a/0xOjigr https://imgur.com/a/WmyHh44
Guest
First of all, mister scumbledunkus with the steamid STEAM_0:0:717229804, if the report form tells you to add your ingame name and steamid, you just don't put "irrelevant" in those fields, secondly, the front entrance of the PD was free from any props or non-destructable entities, so long as you have a way to get through to the mayor's office and PD bank (from the front entrance) it is allowed, and finally, the lockdown was made barely three minutes before reset, i did not arrest anyone because of that lockdown and mods correct me if i am wrong, but i believe "Covid Outbreak" is a valid reason to do a lockdown, we are in the middle of a pandemic irl, and since there was someone outside who had the covid effect i thought that it would be fair to make a lockdown to avoid people getting infected with covid ingame. Mouthpiece
You are allowed to block entrances with props-- not indestructible entities. The relevant rule reads as such: "Do not abuse non-destructible entities when building your base. This means using them for anything other than their intended purpose." The moneypot's purpose is not to block entrances. Also if I'm not mistaken, you were unable to have anyone arrested for the lockdown because you were RDM'd shortly after it was put up. Even so, something as intangible as a covid outbreak still isn't necessarily a valid RP reason. The lockdown rule was made to prevent perpetual lockdowns, and a nebulous reason like that would allow a mayor to keep it up for as long as they'd like. So long as there is a way to enter to the PD Bank, and by extension, the mayor's office, jail, courtroom and lobby, it is allowed, if you wanted to raid the PD or go as hacker and sneak in the pd to hack the mayor's panel to demote the mayor all you have to do is to just go through the front entrance. Staff will remove indestructible entities from that very entrance upon request.

I am not gonna repeat it again, lets just wait for the judgement of the staff members
Mouthpiece
I completely understand your point, but I don't think you understand mine. I can't spell out the rule's explicitness any more clearly than I have already, so sure. Staff will have to weigh in. The reporting user is correct, you cannot block the vent entrance with a money pot. It is a non-destructible entity, you cannot use those to block entrances. He has every right to raid the PD however he wants to, that's why you cannot block off any entrances with any non-destructible entities.
cobaselic
As for the "covid outbreak" reason for the lockdown, idk really. That's something that we'd have to talk about and decide if it's valid.

Damn really? i was told countless times by staff members and users alike that so long as the front entrance pathway to the office and jail are clear, you could pretty much block all the other pathways
