When Tod first introduced me to the server, TitsRP, I fell in love with it. The people, admins, and community was great. For the next week my routine had been : wake, attend class, come home and play DarkRP, sleep, and repeat. I enjoyed the server so much I even purchased VIP, and I rarely spend money within games. I devoted my time to the server, fell late on a few papers too because of it. I even applied for Trial Moderator. I never intended to hack on the server, however it was my fault to forget to turn them off and become banned. There is no excuse, I hacked and did something wrong. I even used an alternative account. I in fact am exuberated that Sugar allowed me to make an essay for ban appeal. Therefore I am grateful. I am truly sorry for my wrongs. Thank you Sugar for the chance at an essay First I would like to state that I Tre, am in the wrong and I have made the mistake of choosing to have hacks on Garry’s Mod and getting myself banned by joining the server TitsRP. I am truly saddened by being banned, however it was my fault. Sugar has told me to write a 500 word essay on why hacking is bad, therefore I am doing this now. Let’s begin.

 

    Hacking in Garry’s Mod DarkRP is bad because it can ruin the game for others. It is unfair because with hacks people would have an unfair advantage over others. I made the horrible mistake of choosing to use hacks. And because of that, I got myself banned, and as a result of desperation, decided to play on an alternative account and cause my cousin, Tod, to be banned also. That however was my fault. Sugar has since unbanned Tod, and I am grateful for that. It made me sad to see my actions had repercussions on those around me. Basically saying, that you for his unban.

   

    PC gaming has been slowly declining, why? Because of hacking. Why I hacked, I still don’t know. Many people grew up with gaming, now they are seeing it be destroyed by hacking. Many are switching to console. Hacking is making “learning the game” hardly possible now. People are learning to deal with hackers and exploiters more than enjoying the game as it should be. It is also terrible because it can cause players to lose items, experience, and appreciation of a game. Those are just a few more reasons why hacking is bad.

 

   

 

 

Hacking is also bad because it cause people to perhaps dislike a server because of a hacker, thus causing them to not want to rejoin the server. Hacking ruins the fun of the game. If one simply had hacks and could fly around and wreak havoc upon a server's community, it would cause a wide disruption. It ruins the interaction among people. And by doing so, making it not Role Play at that point.
