And having to basically act like you're in lockdown the entire time you play as a job seems pretty unfun. And even if you switch, most of the laws dictator mayors put up ruin the fun you can have as a lot of jobs.

So now I'm supposed to buy a mouse with a dpi button to be able to play against cps? Default laws don't ban weapons though? I'm complaining about how the pairing up of "random weapon checks are allowed" and starter weapons being illegal makes you AOS if the mayor refuses to give you a license

What I'm complaining about is the ability to randomly arrest almost anyone, anywhere, at any time, even though the person in question did not actively break a law. And most of the times I got weapon checked and arrested were times I wasn't paying attention to a person following me or was busy talking, using the toolgun, checking my inventory, etc. (They always searched me from behind).

It's not that its hard to differentiate, but that you are sometimes basically AOS as certain jobs and cant do anything about it.

Adding onto that, would it be rda if a cop arrested me for the random check?

About that, would that count as a form of self defense? Or would I be wanted for that? And if it is self defense, can other cops still KOS me?

I've recently had a problem while playing on this server. Every time I went out in public as certain jobs, I got arrested immediately. I asked the CPs why they arrested me, and the most common answer is "I weapon checked you." Yesterday, we had Fireborn as a dictator mayor, and one of his laws went along the lines of "People without gun licenses will be weapon checked" while his gun license price was 500k... So unless you dish out half a million on a gun license (that the mayor will try and delay or refuse), you are basically AOS as jobs with weapons on them (That you cannot drop). So, I just ask for a solution to this. Maybe making class weapons always legal (in weapon checks or in everything), or maybe banning random weapon checks, or setting a maximum price on licenses that is realistically affordable for new and amateur players, or something else I haven't mentioned here.
