false cheating ban

I want to start this off with saying I'm sorry to all the people my decision has effected. When I issued this ban I did not expect it but looking at it now and everyone's opinions I now see it how it has. 

 

Tene's post summed it all up pretty well from what I've seen, aswell as everyone else's posts here. I fucked up and did not follow any of the procedures we have in place for these sorts of issues. 

 

Aswell as that I did not reply to any questions brought my way, I now see how that has made me look even worse in this situation of which I should not have done and just been transparent to begin with. 

 

During the last fews of this appeal going on and speaking to other people within the community I see just how royally I have fucked up and it was never my intention to cause all this discourse. 

 

I've also realised that I have gotten too comfortable in my position and forgotten the rules and guidelines I am supposed to know and enforce. While no one is perfect and shouldn't be expected to know everything I should atleast know enough to not allow a situation like this to occur again and if I don't know then to reach out to my fellow staff and ask questions. 

 

To all the people I had insulted in this post for calling biased I'm sorry, I hope you can forgive me but understand if you cannot.

 

To Hammy, I'm sorry for banning you for unclaimed hackusations based on suspicion and history alone. 

 

I will be unbanning you and removing the ban from your record. I hope that you can forgive and maybe we can go to being friendly with one another. 

 

As for me, after thinking on it a few days what I did is 100% worthy of a strike, there's no other way of thinking about it. I did not follow any of the systems we have in place and went and did something on my own, a strike would be issued to anyone else who had done the same and I am no different. I will be giving myself a strike for the Failure to follow Staff Procedure and General  Unprofessionalism. I will also be going back through our guidelines and documents as clearly I have forgotten them.
