Why is a slur that’s not even as bad resulting in longer punishment?

it's probably like that so they dont continue to spam the n word if staff arent around to ban them from the server, not because the punishment for that is a 10 minute timeout

Nah, they dont issue a ban after the timeout is over for just saying the word. If you use a banned word in a sentence with disturbing context then yes, they would issue a longer timeout.

Seeing what you had said to get yourself here, and considering your attitude in this discussion as well as the outline of your initial appeal, clearly you don't care.

I apologize, if im not pouring my heart out into the appeal. I really just stick around for the community and like engaging in the discord, I also really do think I would still be in the discord with a 10m timeout if I had just said the hard R instead.  I am also taking the time to respond to all of you and I have admitted that I was wrong for saying a slur, but I am not wrong about the punishment time being a little extra.

 

Also my appeal shouldn't be decided off "lack of effort" but rather the actual rules. If someone says the hard R they get a 10m timeout same with the F slur, I said a slur but it wasn't as severe as the one that gets you a 10m timeout. 

 

Let me also remind y'all its been 3 days over what usually would have been a 10m timeout.

First of all there is no attitude?? are you expecting me to be on my knees apologizing typing out an essay on why I should be unbanned?  I have responded to all of the mods and admins filling them in on the context of the situation and the RULES.

 

Appeals shouldn't be decided because YOU FEEL  I have an attitude about it, when I actually have just been responding normally and using actual punishment times to back up what im saying.

After reviewing the audit log submitted it is my professional opinion that you need some form of lasting punishment to get the point through your head this behavior is not ok. your right standard timeout would have been 10mins, but standard timeout does not seem to be getting the point across as this has been a reoccurring issue all year long. Regardless if YOU FEEL you should be un-banned the only thing you have done is insult staff in your initial report, and word your message in a way that says "I wont say it again". Your clearly missing the point that you need to not say any of it again. you could have taken that to Yahyas PM's but you chose to make a public spectacle out of it. your lack of remorse and effort portrays that you do not care. The issue here is we need you to care about what consequences your actions will bring you because without you giving a shit about the situation the only outcome of un-banning you will be to ban you again once you repeat this offense.  TLDR your not sorry you said it your sorry you got banned for saying it.

I have not insulted staff and I have put a good amount of effort into my responses. The only thing I can see in my report that is insulting is fat admin which is the most non serious insult towards chesmond we have called each other worse things. The message was up for less than 10 sec before I deleted it 

 

i think you are getting a little too emotional about this lack of remorse. It is an appeal to a ban not an apology post. I don’t know what I have done to offend you personally Mr insurance agent, but you have had a strong stance against me from the start and see no reason.

Please use common sense in the future when it comes to what content is appropriate for open chat in discord/in-game/anywhere else where rules involving what you can say exist. Your missing the point entirely.

2 months ago was my last discord timeout - idk when my last legit in game ban was either.
