I explained that the alien was kissing my party members and the citizen was shooting at me and that was why I killed them, instead I was told to drop 1mil or be banned for 7 days. Who warned/banned you? lightning5pirit How long were you warned or banned for? 7 days At around 12:00 EST on 3/14 I killed an alien for kissing my party member, and a citizen for shooting at me. 5 minutes later I was called into a sit where I explained why I killed the two. Despite explaining my reasons, the citizen told me to drop him 1 mil or be banned, I refused since I had a valid reason to kill them. I was then banned for 7 days. Lightning5pirit Posted March 14 Share Posted March 14 Hello Linus, I’m not currently able to check your exported logs but I believe the reason I banned you was not simply for killing those two people but because when I checked your logs you had also killed quite a substantial amount of other people. As for the part where you were told to drop a million dollars or be bannned, that was said to you by one of the other players in the sit. Essentially he was offering to forgive you in exchange for money, I believe I did make a mistake here because I neglected to tell him that you would likely be banned anyway due to the amount of people you killed in which case you would have been scammed out of your money by the other player. When I get home from school this afternoon I will go back through your exported logs and revaluate whether you ban was fair or excessive. Linus Sex Tips Posted March 14 Author Share Posted March 14 The server was pretty chaotic at the time, and as I was the mayor there were numerous people trying to kill me, I believe it's unfair to consider those kills as RDM since there was no reports and no evidence that foul play was involved.
