I dont know what the answer to this is but all im going to say is im fucking disappointed in gmod players and i hope the person reads this. 

 

Being immature af and ruining a tool others use for things other than titsrp and gmod is pathetic. I staff on this server and I dont beef with no one and I got hit. I spend time doing my part to help this community and some idiot makes my life harder and takes away my ability to communicate with my irl friends, video call and watch shows with my gf over discord, and to lose access to old chat logs with friends and others. 

 

if we ban u from the discord or the game server, at least its just about gmod, we dont come and fuck up how you do shit outside of titsrp. 

 

Im just god damn frustrated about this. If i cant get my shit back after sending them a pic of my government ID, im out of here.

Im kinda confused why ur coming at me for making a joke paraphrasing what the person said above me lol. Every single person who voiced their concern here whether its FTC player toxicity or sierra wilis or any other person here does not have an issue with me (at least not one i know about) I even talk to them all the time in game. Same with Sae. actually even you too hex, I say hi to you and hear you out when u have concerns u want to bring up as well. Also for me, I dont take this as serious at all. When I think of corruption, I think of corrupt governments, corrupt organizations who ruin the lives of people in a drastic way. Not bigtittyfucker69 and asslove68 scheming together to ban someone for a week off the server. Do i think its a bad look for staff, yes. Should they be removed, yes. Do i spend as much time thinking about them as I do about my next bill or mortgage payment, no

Yes, current staff applications ask a lot less questions and dont ask you to write a biography for yourself. However, the questions our SMOD team and other mods ask applicants are just as hard if not harder than the previous template.

 

I copied all the questions I had to answer back in 2017 while applying for staff and you can compare it to a question asked by one of our existing staff team on applications that are still up right now.

 

Older template questions:

Player X claims that player Y is using printers with a building sign up

 

Player X shoots player Y with a stun gun for 1 armor of damage. Player Y kills player X. Player Y makes a sit on Player X for stun gun abusing them

 

3 players report a player for Mass RDMing. You try to bring the player in question but it says "This player has not been found.":

 

Player X crossfired player Y in a raid. Player Y makes a sit claiming he RDMed him. How would you investigate to check if it were crossfire?

 

Player X calls a sit saying "Admin to me":

 

Player X teleports into Player Y's base using !sleep and kills player Y because he is Jigsaw. However player X starts to blow up player Y's printers. Player Y calls a sit on Player X:

 

Somebody dies in a raid. They come back and stand on the sidewalk outside their base and get killed again by the raider. They call a sit for RDM:

 

Somebody dies in a raid. They come back to their base at exactly the 10 minute mark and get killed by the person who was raiding. They call a sit for RDM:

 

You are in a sit and decide to give somebody a verbal warning for an accidental RDM. The offended user calls you a bad staff member and says that you need to ban them for 3 days:

New unique questions:

 

Player "X" is being targeted and harassed by player "Y". Player "Y" is calling them names and racial slurs, Player "X" reports him and says that he is doing this to him because Player "X" killed Player "Y" in crossfire. Player "Y" was saying this through voice chat and not through text chat. How would you go about solving this, what would you check and, or ask Player "X" for. Also let me know what you would check if Player "Y" did say this though text chat.

 

Player A and Player B were recently in a sit that didn't go Player A's way; Player A is constantly placing hit on Player B. Player A often goes up to Player B and is verbally calling them slurs,  Player A has been previously told to leave Player B alone. How would you handle the sit and what kind of evidence would you be looking for? 

 

Player X and Y are basing together and get raided by Player Z. Player Z makes it through Player X's dupe, but before player Z could kill them both, they destroy their entities inside. In this situation can you describe what this would be called and how would you handle the situation?

 

Player X says he got rdmed by 2 people and Player Y says he was shooting him while he was in his base, Player K says the same thing but when you check the death positions and you see he is outside the base looking like he is walking past not raiding, how would you solve this?

1) Player A reports Player B for attempting to crash the server with props. You have just claimed the ticket and have not brought either parties just yet. How would you proceed? 2) Player A reports Player B for using a cop job to unlock doors to the mayors office, then switching to the mayors assassin and killing him. You have just claimed the ticket. How would you proceed? 3) Player A reports Player B for building on the sidewalk, saying that it's a nuisance because he has to cross the street to keep walking while there's jwalking laws and he keeps getting arrested because of it. Upon claiming the ticket you see that Player B is on the Hobo job. How would you proceed? 4) Player A reports Player B for being extremely toxic, he is telling Player A to kill himself in voicechat, you have no evidence when you claim the ticket. How would you proceed? 5) Player A reports Player B for Fading Door Abuse and building while being raided. You have just claimed the ticket. How would you proceed?

Instead of feedback run by someone who honestly has questionable motives, Id rather have the community appoint someone with a more known reputation that is nonstaff to gather opinions. (just like how a company would hire a 3rd party  to gather employee satisfaction.) While feedback may be true, the medium used and person who is running this is a complete question to me which impacts the validity of these concerns. Moreover, the concerns gathered here are concerns that were already discussed or ongoing issues that are spread all over the forums. I dont really see any new feedback.

 

In addition to no new feedback, I also dont see any solutions. Not that I expect one person to suggest the perfect solution to any one specific issue but if you have a problem with something, then I would expect at least some piece of information that may guide either myself or others in charge to shape or change the game or community in a way that YOU (person w concern) find acceptable.

If people could control themselves, it would make it easier to relay information to everyone. But think about how many people tried to reach out to recently comm removed people such as spektor, cuntbucket, oldgreg and all them. I’ve personally been told by these individuals who has been dming them as well.

 

And whos to say people wouldnt still go to these people after we give our reason (proven by evidence) and they get lied to  

 

community removals arent by the community but they are for the community. Yall really dont need to be put through the hell of reading 500 dirty and illegal dms or whatever is shown.

If you (not tene) are the type of person to want to dig up shit, you will always be able to. Sometimes, especially with the recent comm removals, it is much better not to know..... And knowing and not knowing does should not affect a players experience on the server. Just know that comm removals are justified with hard evidence and they are bad. You can ask the specifics from the person if you are that type of person but asking and not taking the answer with a grain of salt is just stupidity. If someone did something bad enough to be comm removed, you think they will tell the truth? Either, they lie and make it seem like not such a big deal or mention something else (you can use your brain and realize the crime doesnt fit the punishment) or they tell you the truth and the truth makes you realize they needed to go.

 

Majority of the time, comm removed people have done something so bad, their actions WILL more than likely be disgusting causing unnecesarry hatred or disgust towards the person. Why spend that extra time hating on someone who will no longer be part of the community when you can simply just keep enjoying the game. 

 

Plus, it is not as all comm removals are default masked. Some comm removals, depending on severity, we will tell the necessary information.

As rp is a representation of real life, jaywalking is crossing or walking in the street where there is traffic. The unwritten server culture is the fact that once a player's foot even edges the street u will get fined for jaywalking.

 

I would suggest updating the mayor example of good laws to include a definition regarding jaywalking and the extent of how hard the mayor wants it to be enforced. 

 

This is the current example "Jaywalking will result in a $500 fine, cross at street corners/the crosswalks we have placed"

 

This example requires mayors to give an example as to what they are looking for. 

 

We can even include something that states mayor needs to describe what jaywalking is. 

 

"Jaywalking $5000 fine. Must not walk on street, crossing on corners or placed crosswalks only." (throwing grammar out the window bc of character limit when making laws)
