    Hello everyone. You may have known me a couple years ago, when I was staff, or even before then. I decided to take a break from the server, to pursue other things. Now, I only have a couple months until I ETS from the Army, and I was thinking about interacting with the community again. I hope everyone has been well. I've been through a lot, even been to Europe during the beginning of the Russia-Ukraine Crisis. I've just been gaming and such still, but I've decided to venture onto FFXIV, as well as play other games. I hope all of my homies have been doing alright, and wonder who still plays from when I was playing.

    I know this one is a little weird, but I think its an interesting one regardless. Draw a bearded man holding a balloon. The man is slightly chubby, but a little lanky, and the balloon has a face on it, one that resembles a smile. 

    You don't have to but It was something I thought of.

    It's always so surreal to have something like this happen. I can't believe something like this happened. I only knew Kotos from when I was staff, but he was an alright person to me. It's always sad when a fellow person I knew dies. I wish the best for him, and his family, as well as those who were good friends of his. 😔

    Hell, there's only three posts in this section, and I wanna comment. This looks amazing indeed. I think if this was utilized more, it would make today's games even more beautiful. Perhaps combined with some of the techniques done today, it would be an awesome to see this, combined with that. It would just be tricky at first, because Microsoft might try to claim this method as theirs, or some other bullshit.

    Gun enchantments

    I agree. I think having enchantments that actually have meaningful stat differences and effects are way better than ones that may seem cool, but seem gimmicky. Some are cool, like doing more damage when someone has above 80 percent health, and then some seem pretty meh, like Saiko describes. They shouldn't be oddly specific like that anyway, that ruins enchantments, in my opinion

    Raiders usually do not have the advantage. It's the baser, due to their ability to use cameras and such to be able to see anywhere, and know the layout of their base, unlike raiders. 

     

     

    I do support this idea though, and think it would be neat to see something like this implemented and having to apply for it.

    Edit: Rubik has never done this to me. He's always replied to my inquiries in a timely matter...eventually.

    I think that is a good idea. None of that shit should be used anyway, and cracker is racism anyway, so it's not allowed by default.

    Little Extension of the post, why don't we throw out all of the buzzwords and target this to making harrassment guidelines more defined. If a player feels as if they cannot play on the server comfortable due to being picked on, this should be enforced, that covers homophobia, transphobia, and any other phobia you can think of. We shouldn't be banning words any more than we already have. Its getting ridiculous. 

    Alright, I do agree with this. That means no amount of phobia should be tolerated, no matter what it is. We really need to do a better job with defining harassment in general, because the guidelines we have right now on harassment are shit, plain and simple. If this can be expanded to cover more, I would be happy. No need to ban any words at that point. I'll enforce the rules, but it's up to the higher ups to decide what's harassment, but I'm also going to use my OWN judgment, to prevent situations like that from happening

    It doesn't matter if it's serious or not, LGBTQ harassment in particular should not be tolerated, and the allowance of ****** can give the impression that you can insult someone using the word and suffer no repercussions, and in my opinion, that is really scuffed. I get what you are saying. It's just a place to have fun. I don't think restricting this word or cracking down on this will negatively affect the server. It'll allow people to have fun still, while being able to breathe easy, knowing you won't be harassed for your gender or Sexuality. I think your point about harassment is right though. I just think that in order to show that it shouldn't be tolerated, the word should be restricted or only allowed to be used for its other meaning (a cigarette.)

    Well we are introducing a new feature! (Its been here forever but)  its called the "mute" feature that allows you to silence those who start to test your offended level. If you're ever feeling triggered as a fully grown adult by an edgy 13 year old with just 1 click of a button they shut the fuck up! Wow fascinating! Just look at some of these product reviews!

    That only solves the problem for that one person. We need to take action in order to stop people from doing that sort of shit to other people. It is the staff responsibility to make sure the rules are followed, one of which is "DO be respectful to everyone." It doesn't matter what gender, orientation, or race they are. You need to respect what they are, or not talk to them at all. If harassment is engaged, then we must quench it in the quickest way possible, and deal with the harasser accordingly, which is why we can't just ignore everything and pretend it's cotton candy and rainbows.  Like Tass said, even a verbal warning, talking to, and in my opinion, a gigamute, would help to solve the problem.

    I am a very firm believer in treating people how you want to be treated. I for the most part am nice in-game respectful and steer away from breaking rules. I wouldn't even consider using those slurs because I too don't believe they're appropriate.  On the flip side those words shouldn't hurt you. We have these features and an awesome staff team to help you when harassment does happen. Which it does im not selling it short. We just need to have a bit thicker skin when playing on the internet. 

    I would like to agree with you, but I cannot, because it's not always easy to just avoid people, and when that happens, I encourage everyone to get staff involved as much as they can, so the harassment can be stopped, by either figuring out how to remedy the situation, or to ban the offender. Thicker skin does not mean to let yourself be called slurs every time. There is a point where a person will reach their limit of bullshit, so it's best to remedy it before shit hits the fan.
