  1. Added new rule to the Weird Jobs section: "Due to the fact that they do not have any job functions outside of their respective play areas, the Sewer Lord and Sharks (But not Crabs!) are not bound by NLR" NLR felt extremely stifling for these classes, as their play is only bound to one, often low population, area. So we removed it.
  2. Updated a rule in the Miscellaneous section, changed: Do not modify a Custom Class/Terrorist in a way that gives you a roleplay advantage. (ex. Standard custom class named "Civil Projection" and using a model that looks like CP to gain entry into the Mayor's office, or Terrorist changes their job name to "Black Market Dealer") Into: Do not modify a job name in a way that gives you a clearly unintended roleplay advantage. (ex. Standard custom class named "Civil Projection" and using a model that looks like CP to gain entry into the Mayor's office, or Terrorist changes their job name to "Black Market Dealer", Hacker drinks a CP potion and also changes his job name to Secret Service before raiding the PD, etc.) Apparently someone didnt get the intent here and had to have it spelled out for them.
  3. July 18th, 2019 Added two new adverts: "Kingdom Raid" and "Over", although "Over" is merely a recommended-use advert, and is not required to be used. Additionally, added the following rule to the thief rules sub-section, just for the sake of clarity: "While you are raiding the kingdom, you have to stay in the kingdom. Leaving the portal is considered the end of your kingdom raid." Basically I'm tired of the inconsistencies around the King ruleset. He's Mayor2 but without the raid advert. Well, now he has one too.
  4. July 9, 2019 Changed the shade of green in several places from lime green to emerald green to appease Slick's autism.
  5. June 27, 2019 The common sense rule has been re-added, since it's apparently sorely needed.
  6. June 20th, 2019 Added new misc rule: Any user in the group [GambleBanned] is barred from gambling. This includes hosting their own gambling stations. They are KOS inside the strip club, or if talking to the extreme gambler, or if trying to gamble at a gambling station, or if they try to gamble in any other manner. If they are caught gambling, report them to staff, and after you have killed them, issue them a warn for gambling. GambleBanned users are expected to be advocates for gambling moderation. They are otherwise to be treated as normal VIPs. If you would like to be added to the [GambleBanned] role please ask the Head Admin or higher. Some people need the community to help them control their gambling. And we will. With shotguns. Thought about it a bit. This is a bad addition. Rule removed.
  7. June 9th, 2019 Fixed a ton of grammar. Fixed a bunch of formatting issues. Changed the location of several rules to more appropriate locations (ie, moved Preacher skybase rule to kidnapping ruleset). Rule changes: You must have at least 3 members who are part of the same faction (ie, 3 hobos, 3 crips, 3 aliens) to megabase unless you're the king. No reason to limit this to just gangs. Might see some people actually megabase now and then if they can do it as other jobs. Not yet sure if this should be applied to CCs. Will discuss with admin team later. Do not modify a Custom Class/Terrorist in a way that gives you a roleplay advantage. (ex. Standard custom class named "Civil Projection" and using a model that looks like CP to gain entry into the Mayor's office, or Terrorist changes their job name to "Black Market Dealer") Extended rule to apply to Terrorists as well. Definitely an unfair advantage to allow Terrorists to change job name. Many recent complaints about this. Who in sam heck added SGA (Stun-Gun Abuse) to terminologies section? I know it wasn't there originally and I have literally not seen that abbreviation once, ever.
  8. June 1st, 2019 Added Stupid job rule: If Picolas Cage summons a train on a player outside of a base, it is considered a natural event (and therefore is not Mass RDM when 80 players crowd around your train for the memes). If a train is summoned inside of a base, that is considered as a raid. Since Picolas Cage is a job defined to not be permitted to raid, this means you are not allowed to continue to perform other raiding actions such as chucking C4 into their base or lockpicking, you cannot raid the base again before the normal time limit, and you cannot switch jobs in order to raid them after summoning the train. To make it simple - no summoning a train for raiding purposes. Basically, the natural events thing was put into the rules in order to finally make sense of thomas not being considered mass rdm, but players have been abusing this in order to raid players. And we want to fix this.
  9. May 23rd, 2019 Added misc rule: Due to the fact that the meth entity is only able to be picked up by meth cooks, switching to meth cook at the end of a raid in order to pick up meth is allowed. Wouldn't make any sense whatsoever to give the meth cook the sole ability to have entities raiders cannot benefit/profit from, so until such a time that meth can be picked up by all classes, you are allowed to swap to meth cook in a raid in order to pick up meth.
  10. Added Misc rule: Report someone within 2 weeks, or we will not take action, even if they Mass RDMed 99999999999 players. Reports will still be accepted for extremely serious offenses, such as things which break the law, on a case by case basis, but if we determine you held this information from the staff team for the purposes of blackmail, threats, or other similar reasons, you will receive a punishment equal to whatever we decide to do with the player you reported. Basically, the admin team is sick and tired of people holding "blackmail" of players. We will not be banning anyone for MRDM they did 3 months ago, just because they missed their weekly blackmail payment.
  11. February 19th 2019 Added a rule disallowing scam gunshops whose main source of income is people misclicking on 800k guns
  12. December 30th Added Misc rule: If a player has been gone for 30 consecutive days from the server without prior notification, you can revoke their custom class permanent slot without being subject to the scamming rule. It is highly recommended that you record their gametracker (Recommended method is via screenshot) at the time of revocation to prevent future issues. Freeing up perma slots from inactive/retired players.
  13. December 18th Added Cop rule: Becoming a Cop job so that someone else can raid the PD is failRP/job abuse. Should be obvious, should be unnecessary, literally like 4 lines above it you see "You cannot assist criminals or commit crimes", but apparently this was necessary since that wasn't obvious enough for some people.
  14. December 12th Added Misc Rule: The following 2 actions are allowed without adverting PD raid, so long as you do not engage anyone without them engaging you first (or warning them properly): Jailbreaking and Hackers hacking any of the PD panels, including the one in the Mayor's office. Anything involving breaking through a prop or a fading door is not allowed under this rule, and will be considering pd raiding without an advert. If you wish to pd raid, you will still be required to call pd raid after exiting the pd entirely. If you kill a CP legally under this rule, leave the PD, and then call PD raid, the officer you killed before you called pd raid will not be consider to be breaking NLR if they return to the PD to stop your PD raid, as they died before you called a PD raid. We want more fun sneaky RP in the PD, and feel these 2 actions aren't something players should be getting reported for. Now, obviously if someone is jailbreaking or sneaking around in the back of the PD, you can go ahead and arrest them for trespassing or whatever, but this should add a little more fun to the PD.
  15. December 9th Added Bad/Punishable Law: "Any law where the intent is clearly just to prevent CPs from roleplaying properly, i.e: cops cannot handcuff criminals, or cannot use their stunguns, or all fines are $1 in conjunction with a law stating no arresting, etc." I wish this wasn't necessary, but it turns out there are a lot of people who just really, really hate CP players, so this WAS necessary.
