  1. PD shouldnt be allowed to raid based on sound 3/4 of the time all pd's are mingy little kids who dont even raid the right base cuz ''they heard printers''  when its in the base below!

     

    I used to have this opinion, but then police wouldn't really ever have a legitimate reason to raid. But I do 100% agree that so many Police raids are just random warrants, and when I take a sit that involves a false Police raid, it's incredibly messy to sort out. I'd like to think there's a better system that could be implemented, but I really don't know what that would be without either making police raids never happen, or constant false police raids.

     

    Not sure, just a thought but one way to remedy this would allow police to see printers through walls. However I see how this could be abused, so perhaps the police would only be able to see the printers within a relative proximity, and temporarily with some sort of scanner swep that only certain cp would have (police chief, swat members, etc. Kind of like a "signal interruptor" that picks up on the trail of a printer.

     

    Just a thought, maybe someone can improve on this idea and make it a workable thing

     

     

    Yeah the proximity thing's a good idea, maybe a printer proximity scanner. Or something like that, where it draws a line to the printer, so that you know exactly which house, but a printer silencer also makes it invisable to the scanner.

     

    I mean I guess this could be nice, but this may have the unintended consequence of more successful pd raid / just shooting printers. 

     

    Let me explain, when the mingy 12 year old raids you and you have nothing, that is a positive, the more bases that are raided that have nothing, the longer those with something have in between raids. So when you do actually have printers, the 12 year old are busy raiding someone else instead of you.

  2. I had a suggestion that I sorta brought up in the server meeting. 

     

    Impliment a new policy on battering rams. Instead of making it so props are unfrozen, it should ghost props for say 3 mins, INCLUDING Fading doors/

     

     

     I think 3 mins is fair, as it gives enough time for a raid BUT not so much that it prevents a player from returning.

     

    Reasons: People spend hours making a base, why should they have to start over

                   It would be nice not to get killed by props when raiding.

                   It would make bases, slightly, more raidable

     

    I actually agree with this a lot. It's annoying when you make a base then a cop warrants you and destroys the whole base and you have to remake it. It's even more annoying when you're not staff or VIP so you can't save it then all of that work is wasted and you just get salty. Plus, CP proof doors are very strong cause of the reason of you cant battering ram it fast enough and usually cops dont always work together in raids. I dont think it should be 3 minutes though. I think it should be more of 20 seconds because the speed that the battering ram destroys props and the amount of cops that might be there with battering rams. But, other than that, great suggestion!

    The problem with 20 secs is the like 52 part fading doors

    or the 700 props stacked on one another

    Cops aren't supposed to raid alone, i.e. the call for back up system, so if there is 5 cops raiding one base and it lasts 3 minutes, well its not gonna take long for 5 cops to get through, not really fair for the base owner, it needs to be less than a minute at minimum.

     

    If its a minute lets say, then the cooldown on battering should be reduced


    I mean from a cops perspective, the fading door with 72 parts cant be battered in a minute as it stands

  5. Alrighty, so I have a question for the staff of this fine server.

     

    If player X shoots at player Y, BUT misses, shouldn't player Y be able to shoot back?

     

    Here is why I ask, there seem to be two different staff opinions on this:

     

    The first is that since player X, missed, Player Y rdmed

     

    The second being that Player Y had just reason to kill player X

     

    To me, the second opinion makes the most sense, for RP reasons at least, if Im getting shot at IRL, I aint waiting to get hit before I shoot back.

     

    I mean IDK I need a definitive statement from the higher up staff team about this so I can stop getting rdm verbals or warnings for this. It seems illogical to follow opinion 1 but many staff do.

    I think that he is honestly frustrated and the lack of grammar/sentence structure is probably a result of his age. In addition due to his assumed young age, it may be that he doesnt quite see thing from every angle.

    I dont think he is trolling, I think he is just frustrated and not sure what else/where else to complain

  7. I know that I am not staff, but if you and the owner/whoever is in charge of the rules section could give it an overhaul, that would be great.

     

    Things off the top of my head are missing

    Valid Rp Demote info, IE what is/isn't valid

    Clarify what cops can/cannot arrest/fine for

    IE I was yelled at for arresting a jwalker when jwalking was illegal, Mdantos said that "I was supposed to fine him instead"

     

    Just in general beef up the rules and then at the same time  If something isn't in the rules ------> don't punish for it

     

    Define LTAP, NITRP and other acronyms in the rules

     

    For LTAP, us players need some heads up not to disconnect, maybe implement a so and so has reported you DO NOT disconnect IDK

    Let me elaborate. When there is no mayor On, one cannot warrant, this causes problems.

    When there is a mayor on, Mayors either habitually do not see the warrants or ignore them. Both of which need fixing.

     

    Hopefully soon there will be a regular (or maybe vote or VIP) CP job that can accept warrants and fire CP, but in the meantime:

     

    CP can batter any player's props if the player is currently wanted, warranted or in jail.
