This means no full blackout/super dark. bases, invisible bases, or maze bases where the path is not obvious.'' is the rule he is breaking. its clear he is intentionally breaking this rule as much as possible, even stating ''Zionx to admins: yeah its hard thats the point'' - as smod he should know this isnt allowed and is abusing the invisible base design to prevent people entering-- chatlog was provided for evidence of this report. Firewarrior2803 Posted March 5 Share Posted March 5 First all you can prop block 1 entrance as such i did for sewers, And it was not fully invisible you could still see the way in as the triangles had a mat on them with a ladder leading into the base with a bright red mat. and no i use the 1x1 prop since it makes it easy to shoot through my first time using it on a base. (i remove the exploiting part of the report i thought u were using a different prop which abuses hitboxes... the rest stays its clear failbase the main rule is no invis bases) you also said yourself that you intentionally do this to make the base hard to get into, to quote the rule, "your base must have a clear entrance, no invisible bases". if you watch the clip before i throw the redox nade u can see that its extremely unclear to see where you have to go after you get past the ladder. its also very hard to see where you can and cant move... this is the definition of an unclear / failbase. The part I was talking about when I said that the point is to be hard is the triangles being at different spots, so you get stuck on one unless you jump over it, not the invis fences and the somewhat hard to see triangles (as I though that is what was being reported and as such i changed the mat on them). Tene Posted March 5 Author Share Posted March 5 (edited) u can use ur ears in the clip to hear people not knowing how to get in. its an invisible base and your ''fixed'' version is a slightly increased opacity of the areas you need to enter, not the actual base, which is still invisible. you are an smod and ur intentionally making invis bases that are unclear so that its extremely hard to get in. the base seen in the clip has that triangle area almost completely invisible, with a requirement to sprint + jump + crouch from far back, which is unclear (the entire base is invis how are u meant to know where u can and cant jump from + ur invisible cubes) ''its not unclear you have already done it once'' :? Firewarrior2803 Posted March 5 Share Posted March 5 (edited) my fixed version i put not only a bright color but a mat that stick out ALOT, not just changing the opacity, You can make your entrance hard to get in nothing states you can make it a crouch jump base. It still was see able so i see and don't see how it would be a failbase but i still willing changed the mat and color to stop stuff like this because people cant longjump. JeromeASF Posted March 5 Share Posted March 5 As a smod you should know these kind of simple rules. You can’t have a base where the path isn’t 100% clear. And for your jump ups you had multiple tiny invis cubes making it very hard to see how to crouch jump to get in. I would +1 for a warn or something of that nature.
