Got banned for not complying and having a lockdown as mayor. it was unsafe outside and there was goons so i made a lockdown. got banned for listening to the admin and not agreeing with him

Why were you banned or warned?

I was banned for "not complying" with rules even though i didnt break any. i think the admin had something against me and didnt care to hear my side of the story so he instead banned me

Why should you be unwarned/unbanned?

In my mind I was doing everything correctly as mayor. i made some laws like jaywalking and must be inside during lockdown. Crabroll then voiced his opinion that i need to remove the lockdown or he would remove me from mayor even though everything i was doing was within the rules. I asked to speak to him and told him why I had a lockdown and he said all those reasons were not valid and that I was not complying. I have always tried my best to follow the rules on this server and its sad to see a mod that doesnt care about their players that consistently support them.

This is the rule in MOTD about lockdowns:

 

Making lockdowns that do not have a valid RP reason are not allowed. (I.e "It's chaos out there!" "Everyone has guns" "im making this lockdown cause I feel like it")

 

You dont have a valid reason, you just kept saying, there is shooting everywhere.

 

After the 20 seconds, I let you have your lockdown because there ended up being a revolt and you died. Then you and another player started to spam insult me in OOC.

After repeatedly trying to get you to understand the concept above, you just insult me, mock me with emotes, invoked the 5th, and refused to listen. You said, how are you not complying when you aren't mayor anymore.

he did say there was a lot of shooting outside + goons.. but what was the actual reason you put for the lockdown?? Also why couldn’t you just explain to the staff member why you had the lock down ?? 
 

Not listening to a staff member / continues to cause issues / not helping staff resolve their issue 1-day - 3-day ban depending on the player attitude
Running away from a sit / not listening 1-day ban - 3-day ban depending on the player attitude

 

 

personally I would have just ignored the comments you made or gigamuted you at most. I wouldn’t have banned but he isn’t in the wrong for banning you either. I do understand

I dont know where in that little head of yours that thinks refusing an admins request on such a simple matter is acceptable, not to mention your little butt buddy that decided to budge in on the whole matter. At the end of the day, its not that big of a deal, we learned to listen to staff first and if they are wrong or you think they are wrong, we have forums.  We got the good ending
