A raid is still a raid under the same term. If you're a cop and you need to break props or get through doors it has to have a warrant as the rule specifically states it. It again said "unless" the door is open meaning you have a straight shot to get to the guy without the need to destroy props or break through doors. Kilobyte Posted March 9, 2022 Share Posted March 9, 2022 (edited) That rule about the door being open only protects your right to trespass into the base and make an arrest if you're already chasing after a criminal that ran into their base, not you being able to KOS everyone in the base after seeing the criminal walking in with his doors open. Nobody else in that base did anything to you, you're going after the person who threw the grenades, not the other people. I'm confused why a warn was given. Did any other players damage you when you went into the base?? Where is all the evidence tho logs?? toosii Posted March 10, 2022 Share Posted March 10, 2022 So, the !motd doesn't really go into great detail when it comes to the rule of cops raiding without a warrant. From my knowledge & understanding of the rule though, if you see someone commit a crime & they run into the base (leaving the door open) you are able to follow them in & arrest them without a warrant being involved. But this does not mean you can run in there and kill all of the people who are inside. From the evidence shown it seems you went into the base & killed people inside who were not involved in the situation causing you to enter the base. If so then I think you were in the wrong. Looking at the logs Frisco provided, it seems that you went in there & started attacking the other people inside before they even shot you. -1 for warn removal Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Lewdtastic Posted March 10, 2022 Share Posted March 10, 2022 (edited) After reviewing the footage that was provided to me and looking over the evidence, this appeal will be DENIED, the main goal was to capture the criminal not kill everyone inside unless you were shot by them. Another view was brought to my attention regarding this, as soon as you walk in, it becomes a raid, so the kills were valid and the warn will be removed.
