Computer brokey

Recommended Posts

I bought ram for my computer to be more S T A C K E D  and it just fucking broke it lol. I tried to install the two sticks they snapped in and then my mother board turned on a ez debug light saying the ram was causing a problem and my computer would turn on, but no usb devices would turn on and the HDMI would refuse to display anything. So i take out the additional ram i bought and try and it turns on just fine. By the way, all the ram would light up but the comuter still would turn on.

Here are my specs (thanks linus sex tips)

With a Ryzen 3600 and a Geforce RTX 2060 powering this build, you wont have all the frames, just most of them. Anouther thing that i just realized is that for some fucking reasson it says i only have 8 gifs of ram in system information when i have 16 gigs installed. So now i have two problems. Why does it say i have half the ram it says i have and why is my new ram bricking my computer?

If you have ram sticks from different manufacturers make sure you alternate the pattern of ram. ex. razer ram, corsair ram. razer ram and corsair ram.

its the same manufacture

Have them spaced as far away from the CPU as possible. No Ram | Ram | No Ram | Ram
it should say on the motherboard what the intended order is for 2 sticks.
Are both ram sticks the exact same or only same company.

Only difference is color but I did color a : color b : color a : color b

You really dont wanna mix ram sticks, even if they're set in like |Set 1|Set 2|Set 1|Set 2, it just breaks shit, if you wanna get more ram, either upgrade your current sticks, or specifically buy the exact same model ram, with exact same speed and timings. mixing your ram will only cause you issues.
