Well let me start by saying I don't know, and never have known how to DDOS, if i did i definitely wouldn't use it. but when i made the threat i was having an extremely bad day, and I took it out on someone who didn't deserve it and tried to scare them. i apologize and i believe I've learned my lesson. if i do get unbanned I will try my best to follow the rules, i have been playing a lot of dark rp servers and i am doing really well at following rules. Drakos Posted August 17, 2021 Share Posted August 17, 2021 With appeals, the banning staff member can accept appeals outright. or they can deny them, assuming evidence is provided contradicting the appealer's statement. In this case, I'm of the opinion that on one hand, DDoS threats in general are an outright dickish move, regardless of intention or capability to go through with it. On the other hand, it's been 9 months, you have no history of related offences on steam or the server, and you didn't actually do it. So instead of denying or accepting it, I'll let other staff weigh in on this. Regardless of that though, I personally give the appeal a +1. Your previous bans are just for RDM and RP related situations and you haven't been in trouble (on here at least) for doing this before. I just hope you understand DDOS threats are taken seriously so if it happens again you will be banned permanently without chance to appeal most likely.
